PWC Police issue updates on robbery, malicious wounding, sexual assault cases

Sexual Assault Investigation *ARREST – On September 8 at 1:45PM, Henry Allen DAVIS was located and arrested in Loudon County. The accused was then transported to an area facility for a mental health evaluation where he remains hospitalized. DAVIS was wanted for a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence in Woodbridge sometime between September 1 and September 3.

Sexual Assault Investigation [Previously Released] – On September 7 at 8:25PM, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred at a residence located in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old girl, was sexually assaulted by the accused, identified as a family member, sometime between September 1 and September 3. The victim recently disclosed the assaults to another family member who brought the victim to the Gar-Field Station on September 7. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused, identified as Henry Allen DAVIS. Attempts to locate DAVIS have been unsuccessful. DAVIS may be driving a 2007 red Ford F-150 pickup with Virginia license plates: KFS-8067. The investigation continues.

Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On September 8, Patrick Eric BURCH turned himself into police without incident at the Gar-Field Station in Woodbridge. The accused was wanted for an assault which occurred in the area of Dale Blvd and Gideon Dr in Woodbridge on September 2.

Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On September 2 at 9:54PM, officers responded to the area of Dale Blvd and Gideon Dr in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 41-year-old woman of no fixed address, reported to police that she and the accused, an acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused picked up a rock and threw it at the victim, striking her in the face. The victim fell to the ground and briefly lost consciousness. The accused left the area prior to officers arriving. The victim was treated on scene for her injuries. Officers searched the immediate area for the accused who was not located. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant for the arrest of the accused, identified as Patrick Eric BURCH.

Armed Robbery | Reckless Handling of a Firearm *ARREST – On September 5, the suspect involved in the shooting which was reported to have occurred in the 9400 block of Lomond Dr in Manassas on August 20 was arrested without incident.

Jalan Winston ROSE, 20, of 5813 block of Maple Terr in Laurel, Maryland
Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm

Armed Robbery | Reckless Handling of a Firearm [Previously Released] – On August 20 at 12:17AM, officers responded to the 9400 block of Lomond Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 25-year-old man of Manassas, reported to police that he made arrangements to sell some auto parts to an acquaintance in the above area. During the encounter, the man brandished a handgun and demanded the property. At some point, the suspect fired toward the victim missing him. The suspect then fled the area with the victim’s property who contacted police. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, detectives with the Robbery Unit identified and obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Jalan Winston ROSE. The investigation continues.
