**ARRESTS**
Attempted Malicious Wounding – On October 18th at 11:38AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12700 block of Quarterhorse Ln in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an attempted assault. The victim, a 17 year old female juvenile of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated.
During the encounter, the accused retrieved a kitchen knife and began swinging it towards the victim. No contact was made and no injuries were reported. The two parties eventually separated and the victim contacted police. The accused left prior to police arriving at the home. Following the investigation, officers obtained a warrant against the accused in connection to the incident. The accused turned himself into police the next day.

Jorge Alberto BLANCO, 50, of the 12700 block of Quarterhorse Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with attempted malicious wounding

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On October 18th at 9:00PM, officers responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cir (22192) to investigate an assault. Officers located the suspect and identified him as the accused. As officers were speaking to the accused about the incident, it was determined he was intoxicated. The accused was subsequently arrested. While in custody, the accused turned towards one of the officers and spat towards him. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

**UPDATES**
Aggravated Malicious Wounding *ARREST – On October 14th, detectives located and arrested the juvenile suspect involved in the stabbing which was reported to have occurred in the 7600 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas on October 10th. The suspect was located leaving a residence in the Coverstone Dr area of Manassas and was arrested without further incident. This suspect was determined to be the assailant who reportedly stabbed the victim during the incident.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding [Previously Released] – On October 10th at 5:55PM, officers responded to the 7600 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight in progress. Officers arrived and located the victim, a 22 year old man of Manassas, suffering from a stab wound to the upper body. The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in a fight with two known acquaintances. The fight escalated when one of the suspects pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim. Detectives identified one of the suspects as a 15 year old juvenile male. Following the investigation charges were obtained. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful.
**INCIDENTS**
Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On October 15th at 2:11AM, officers responded to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 32 year old man of Woodbridge, was admitted into the hospital suffering from stab wounds to his abdomen and back. Detectives were eventually able to determine that the incident occurred in the area of Sherwood Pl and Pheasant Ln in Dumfries (22026). The investigation revealed that the victim was in the above area with other individuals. During the encounter, a verbal altercation ensued between the victim and an unknown man. The altercation escalated and the victim was stabbed multiple times by the suspect. Following the incident, the victim was driven to the hospital by a known acquaintance. The injuries sustained are non-life threatening.

Black male, between 5’6”-5’8”, 165lbs with a medium build and short black hair
No known clothing description
Residential Burglary – On October 20th at 2:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Arkansas St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:30AM and 2:00PM. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through the front door which was forced open. No property was reported missing.
