Residential Burglary | Sexual Assault – On August 28th at 9:59AM, police responded to the 1700 block of River Bend Way in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault in progress. The victim, a 38 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she awoke to an unknown man inside her bedroom. During the encounter, the man exposed himself to the victim before sexually assaulting her. Following the altercation, the man fled the residence, possibly on foot. The investigation revealed that the suspect had entered the residence through an unsecured window. At the time of the incident, the suspect was covering the bottom half of his face with a towel.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 25 & 30 years of age, 6’0”-6’5”, thin build with short hair
Last seen wearing a black tank top, black short, white and red shoes, and carrying a small, tan colored towel
