• Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related *ARREST – On July 2, 2022 Prince William County Police officers concluded the investigation into the brandishing that was reported to have occurred near the intersection of Dumfries Rd. and Spriggs Rd. in Manassas (20112) on April 19, 2022. While investigating the incident, officers identified the suspect as Isaiah Gershon MCGRIFF. On May 29, following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant. The accused was located and taken into custody on July 2 while officers were investigating an unrelated incident.

Brandishing of a Firearm | Road Rage Related [Previously Released] – On April 19 at 1:12PM, officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred near the intersection of Dumfries Rd. and Spriggs Rd. in Manassas (20112) earlier that day. The victim, an 18-year-old man, reported to police that he was involved in a road rage incident with the driver of a red Chevy Impala while driving on Dumfries Rd. The investigation revealed that while the two vehicles were next to each other at the above intersection, the driver of the Impala brandished a firearm. The suspect quickly drove away, and the victim continued to his destination before contacting the police. At no time were shots fired during the incident. The only suspect description currently available is a black male in his 40’s, with short black hair and a beard.
INCIDENTS
• Attempted Residential Burglary – On July 5, 2022 at 1:18PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an attempted burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7300 block of Rokeby Dr. in Manassas (20109) sometime between 9:30AM on July 1 and 12:00PM on July 4. The investigation revealed entry was attempted into the home through the rear sliding glass door that was found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
ARRESTS
• Abduction – On July 4, 2022 at 10:39PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 13600 block of Lynn St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary-in-progress. Upon arriving at the residence, officers located the caller outside of the home. The caller reported to police the accused entered the home and when he brandished a firearm, the caller fled the home.
The investigation revealed the accused was known to the victim and had entered the home through an unsecured rear door. While inside the residence, the accused confronted a 19-year-old woman and the initial caller before pulling out a firearm in his waistband. When the caller fled the home, the accused physically prevented the female victim from leaving the residence. Eventually, the victim was able to separate from the accused and leave the home.
A short time later, the accused exited the back door of the home where he was quickly taken into custody by officers without incident. The weapon used during the incident was recovered by officers and determined to be a BB gun. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Courtney Lavonte ORANGE, was arrested.

• Abduction | Domestic Related – On July 5, 2022 at 11:08PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Woodspring Suites located at 10910 Balls Ford Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a domestic-in-progress.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 36-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim. When the victim attempted to leave the room, the accused kicked her and physically prevented her from exiting. At one point, the accused grabbed the victim’s neck. Eventually the parties separated, and the accused left the room and went to the hotel lobby where he was detained by responding officers.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Rene TSHIKUNA, was arrested.

•Malicious Wounding – On July 3, 2022 at 11:59AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 10200 block of Portsmouth Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight with weapons. The investigation revealed the victim, identified as a 30-year-old man, and two unknown males were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, one of the males struck the victim and as the altercation continued, the second male began striking the victim.
Bystanders intervened and separated the parties. Rescue personnel transported the victim to an area hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Following the investigation, officers sought a petition against one of the males, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, who was released to a family member. The second male, identified as Carlos Eliseo AYALA, was arrested.
