INCIDENTS
• Homicide Investigation – On March 20, 2023 at 1:18AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Hoadly Market Place located at 6330 Hoadly Rd. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shooting. Upon arriving in the parking lot of the shopping center, officers located a 37-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately began first aid. Fire and rescue personnel arrived and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The identity of the deceased will be released once next of kin has been notified.
The initial investigation revealed the man, and a female acquaintance, were in the parking lot when they were approached by a vehicle. At one point during the encounter, shots were fired, striking the victim. Preliminarily, this incident does not appear random. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
• Shooting into a Residential Dwelling | Robbery Investigation – On March 17, 2023 at 3:58PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 1800 block of Bel Air Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting. While responding, officers were informed the suspect vehicle fled the area.
The investigation revealed the victim, a 12-year-old male juvenile, was approached earlier in the day by an acquaintance about his shoes. When both parties got off of the school bus in the above area, the acquaintance struck the victim before attempting to take his shoes. A physical altercation ensued and at some point additional juveniles entered the area. Eventually, both parties separated, and the victim maintained possession of his shoes.
A short time later, the victim was walking in the above area when he heard a vehicle quickly approaching him from behind. The vehicle then slowed near the victim, and the driver threatened to take the victim’s shoes. The victim quickly entered a nearby home and locked the door.
A short time later, multiple shots were fired into the residence before the vehicle was seen fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was later located unoccupied in the 14300 block of Jeffries Rd. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. While investigating the incident, officers determined the vehicle was previously reported stolen. No injuries were reported.
During the investigation, officers located two homes and one unoccupied vehicle that sustained damage consistent with being struck by a projectile. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
• Brandishing of a Firearm – On March 17, 2023 at 12:16PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a brandishing that was reported to have occurred in the area of Delaney Rd. near Dale Blvd. in Woodbridge (22193) on the afternoon of March 16.
The investigation revealed five male juveniles, between 13 and 14 years old, were in the above area when they were approached by a vehicle with four unknown and masked occupants. During the encounter, one of the occupants of the vehicle brandished a firearm towards the juveniles before the vehicle left the area. At no point during the encounter were shots fired and no property was reported missing. The investigation continues.
• Residential Burglary – On March 18, 2023 at 12:00PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8300 block of Bethlehem Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed entry was made into the home through the glass side door which was found shattered. The burglary occurred sometime between 1:00PM and 6:00PM on March 16. Four older model pick-up trucks, a 1954 Chrysler sedan, a Kawasaki motorcycle, a bicycle, two riding lawn mowers, a truck cab, 2 truck beds, multiple other vehicle parts and trailer equipment and copper wire were reported missing.
ARRESTS
• Attempted Malicious Wounding |Attempted Felony Child Abuse – On March 19, 2023 at 5:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of G St. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.
The investigation revealed while outside of the residence, the victim, a 24-year-old woman and her two children, a 7-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy, were engaged in a verbal altercation with a family member, identified as the accused, that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused got into a vehicle before driving towards all of the victims. The victims had to jump out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle.
While investigating, officers determined the accused was intoxicated and took him into custody without incident. The male victim reported minor injuries sustained during the incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Orlin Edguardo MOLINA REYES, was arrested.

• Stabbing Investigation – On March 19, 2023 at 10:12PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 8600 block of Centerton Ln. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a stabbing. Upon arriving at the residence, officers located a 43-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.
Officers provided first aid to the victim. Fire and rescue personnel arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital where his injury was determined to be non-life threatening.
The investigation revealed the victim and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused retrieved a knife and stabbed the victim before fleeing to another part of the home where she asked another resident of the home for help.
The accused then left the home and fled to another residence a short distance away where she was later located by police and detained without incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Rosa Adelina GALEAS JOVEL, was arrested.

• Commercial Burglary – On March 18 at 1:43AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Smoke Hut located at 10478 Sudley Manor Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an alarm activation. Upon arriving at the location, officers observed damage to the front glass door.
Video surveillance revealed two individuals, later identified as the accused persons, were observed approaching the front glass door before the door is shattered and the individuals enter the business. While inside the store, the accused took several vape and tobacco products before fleeing the store.
Checking the area, officers located both of the accused in the area of Linden Lake Plaza where they were detained without incident. While investigating, officers determined the accused were in possession of tobacco and vape products from the store. Following the investigation, both the accused, identified as 14-year-old male juveniles, were arrested.

• Commercial Burglary – On March 17, 2023 at 9:28AM, Prince William County Police officers were flagged down by employees at Elevations One Apartments located at 14300 Jeffries Rd. in Woodbridge (22191) regarding two unknown people sleeping in the maintenance room. Officers made entry into the room and detained the two individuals without incident.
The investigation determined the two forced entry into the room through the front door which was found damaged. While investigating the incident, the man was found in possession of a credit card that did not belong to him. Following the investigation, both individuals, identified as Stephanie Michelle JIMENEZ, and Alexander Noel JIMENEZ, were arrested.
