Armed Robbery – On July 13 at 4:17PM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which occurred earlier that afternoon in the 4200 block Kenton Cir in Dumfries (22026). The investigation revealed that two juvenile males made arrangements to sell some shoes in the above area with some acquaintances. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm. The suspects took the shoes from the victims before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. The victims later reported the incident to a family member who contacted Prince William County Police. The investigation continues.
Attempted Armed Robbery | Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On July 14 at 1:38AM, officers responded to investigate a shooting which occurred earlier that morning at the Exxon service station located at 17019 Dumfries Rd (22025). The investigation revealed that the victim, 46-year-old woman of Dumfries, was pumping gas when she was approached by two unknown males around 12:15AM. During the encounter, one of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded property from the victim. At some point during the encounter, the suspect discharged several rounds which struck the gas pump. The suspects then fled the area on foot without taking any property. No injuries were reported. No suspect descriptions are available at this time. The investigation continues.
