PWC police beat for 9/5/12

Grand Larceny | Assault & Battery | Hit & Run – On September 4th at 6:01PM, police responded to the 13700 block of Gilbert Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for an assault. The victim, a 27-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and took her phone. The victim was eventually able to get the phone back and contacted police.

Following the assault, the accused grabbed the victim’s laptop and car keys and exited the residence. The victim confronted the accused outside of the residence, at which point, the accused slammed the laptop on the ground, rendering it inoperable. The accused then fled the residence in the victim’s vehicle. As officers were arriving, information was received that a vehicle, matching the description of the victim’s vehicle, had crashed into a lamp post in the 4300 block of Glendale Dr, damaging a resident’s lawn in the process. The driver was seen by witnesses fleeing the area on foot. Evidence from the scene confirmed the driver was the accused. Following the investigation, multiple warrants were obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused were unsuccessful. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Wanted: Clayton Mack HOLLY, 39, of 14195 Fullerton Rd in Woodbridge [last known address]. Described as a black male, 5’8” / 180lbs, medium build with short black hair, brown eyes and a beard. Wanted for 2 counts of grand larceny, 2 counts of destruction of property, 1 count of assault & battery, 1 count of unauthorized use of vehicle, 1 count of hit & run and 1 count of driving on a revoked license.

Residential Burglary – On September 4th at 7:30PM, police responded to the 18300 block of Nob Hill Dr in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 7:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement door which had been forced open. Jewelry, valued around $8,000, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On September 4th at 6:10PM, police responded to the 4900 block of Kenyon Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:15AM and 5:20PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been broken out. Jewelry and a gaming console, valued around $5,300, were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 4th at 2:16PM, police responded to the 14900 block of Alaska Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 5:00PM on August 30th and 1:30PM on September 4th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a side door and window which appeared to have been tampered with. No entry is believed to have been made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

ARRESTS

Indecent Exposure – On August 11th at 11:51AM, police responded to the Braemar Pkwy and Linton Hall Rd in Bristow (20169) for a suspicious person. The victim, a 47-year-old woman of Bristow, reported to police that she was running on a trail in the area above when she encountered an unknown man. The victim stated that when the man saw her, he lowered his pants and exposed himself. The victim immediately ran from the area and contacted police. Officers quickly responded to the area and were able to locate the man on the trail. Police identified the man as the accused. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. The victim was not injured during the encounter. Investigation continues. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes. Arrested: Daniel Joseph LOVING, 47, of 7375 Bear Wallow Dr in Warrenton. Charged with indecent exposure. Court date set for September 7, 2012, held WITHOUT bond at the time of the arrest.
