Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery *ARREST – On December 31st, the accused was arrested without incident in regard to the domestic assault which was reported to have occurred in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on December 26th.

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery (Previously Released) – On December 26th at 5:14PM, police responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted and strangled the victim. Following the altercation, the accused fled the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Warrants have been obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
**INCIDENTS**
Vicious Dog | Officer Injury – On December 31st at 9:18PM, police responded to the 1600 block of Woodside Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a vicious dog complaint. The caller, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he had attempted to hold down a potentially aggressive dog when the dog bit him causing a minor injury to his hand. A Prince William County police officer responded to the location and was also attempting to detain the dog when the dog bit the officer also causing injury to his hand. Both the officer and victim were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The dog was described as a Mastiff-Great Dane mix, about 135lbs. The dog was subsequently detained by Animal Control Officer.
Residential Burglary – On January 2nd at 1:30AM, police responded to the 3000 block of Sigel Ct in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM on December 22nd and 1:50AM on January 2nd. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A laptop and 2 TV’s, valued around $4,800, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 1st at 8:57AM, police responded to the 17700 block of Mine Rd in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00AM on December 24th and 8:30AM on January 1st. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached storage area through a door which had been forced open. No entry was made into the main residence. A motorcycle and safe, valued around $1,300, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 11:40PM, police responded to the 7200 block of Winnipeg Ct in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he was in his residence when he heard someone kick in his front door. The homeowner confronted the man and he fled on foot. No property was taken.

Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 11:28PM, police responded to the 5100 block of Havering Way in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:23PM and 11:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, iPad, electronic notebook and 2 TV’s, valued around $1,600, were reported missing.
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On December 31st at 8:25AM, police responded to the Riverwoods Town Homes office located at 16573 Nanticoke Way in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Staff reported to police that between 4:10PM on December 29th and 7:55AM on December 31st, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through a window which had been damaged. No entry appeared to have been made and no property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Rape |Aggravated Sexual Battery – On January 1st, detectives from the Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a rape which was reported to have occurred in the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Ct in Woodbridge (22191). The investigation revealed that the victims, a 28 year old woman and a 24 year old woman – both of Woodbridge, invited the two listed accused, both known acquaintances, over to their residence on the evening of the 31st. Sometime during the night, both victims fell asleep. During that time, both accused men sexually assaulted and raped the victims as they slept. Later that morning, both victims contacted police. Following the investigation, both accused men were arrested.

Both were charged with rape, aggravated sexual battery and object sexual penetration

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 31st at 4:00PM, police responded to the 13700 block of Kaywood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. The victim, a 27 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and, at one point, began to choke her. A family member arrived at the residence and was able to help the victim contact police. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On January 1st at 3:10PM, police responded to the 9800 block of Fairmont Ave in Manassas (20109) for a domestic. The victim, a 38 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and forced her into an upstairs room of the residence where he held her for about an hour. At one point, the victim was able to dial 911 but hung up which prompted police response. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. During the encounter, the accused also broke an interior door valued around $200.

Unlawful Wounding – On January 1st at 9:26AM, police responded to the 14300 block of Jeffries Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 23 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused stabbed the victim in the hand with a knife causing minor injuries. The victim was able to get the knife away from the accused and contact police. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Residential Burglary – On December 31st at 4:21AM, police responded to the 10000 block of Portsmouth Rd in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner, a 45 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was inside her home when she heard a glass door break on a rear sliding glass door. The homeowner then reported that the accused, a known acquaintance, entered the residence and proceeded to the second floor where she confronted and threatened the victim. No assault took place. The incident stemmed from a previous dispute between the victim and accused. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.
