Armed Robbery *ARREST – On December 30th, detectives from the Robbery Unit charged the accused in connection to the armed robbery which was reported to have occurred at the Super 8 Motel located at 7249 New Market Ct in Manassas on December 9th. Patrol officers located the accused and a woman near the hotel. While officers were speaking to the subjects, a staff member identified the accused as the suspect involved in the robbery. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Armed Robbery (Previously Released) – On December 9th at 5:54AM, police responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 7249 New Market Ct in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. An employee reported to police that he was working at the front desk when 2 unknown men entered the lobby. One of the men approached the counter, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the clerk before fleeing out of the lobby and getting into a green colored vehicle. No injuries were reported.
**INCIDENTS**
Felony Eluding – On December 29th at 1:38AM, a Prince William County police officer attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of the Prince William Pkwy and Hoadly Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a traffic offense. The driver ignored the officer’s emergency equipment, including lights and siren, and continued down the Prince William Pkwy to the area of Scenic Pointe Pl where the driver lost control and crashed into a ditch before fleeing on foot. Officers set up a perimeter in the surrounding neighborhood. No suspect was located. The investigation revealed the driver to be the accused. Upon searching the vehicle, officers located marijuana. Officers further discovered that the tags on the vehicle were altered and that the vehicle was stolen. Following the investigation warrants were obtained against the accused.

Described as a black male, 6’2”, 140lbs, with brown braided hair, brown eyes and a goatee
Wanted for felony eluding, possession of marijuana, altered or forged license plates, and driving without a license (in addition to other charges)
Residential Burglary – On December 29th at 8:15PM, police responded to the 11800 block of Battalion Sq in Bristow (20136) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:30AM and 3:00PM on December 22nd. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Jewelry, valued around $5,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 27th at 11:10PM, police responded to the 3700 block of Stonewall Manor Dr in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on December 22nd and 10:45PM on December 27th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A TV, iPad, 2 gaming consoles, valued around $1,700, in addition to an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, were reported missing.
Destruction of School Property – On December 29th at 8:28AM, police responded to Kilby Elementary School located at 1800 Horner Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a destruction of property call. Staff reported to police that between 9:30PM on December 28th and 8:15AM on December 29th, an unknown person(s) shot out a window to the school with a handgun. The school was unoccupied at the time of the shooting. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated around $500.

**ARRESTS**
Brandishing a Firearm – On December 30th at 2:06AM, police responded to the 12600 block of Kahns Rd in Manassas (20112) for a domestic. The victim, a 61 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused brandished a firearm, pointed it at the victim and threatened her. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested without further incident.

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On December 29th at 2:24AM, a Prince William County police officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Sudley Rd and Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109). During the course of the encounter, the passenger in the vehicle, later identified as the accused, became disorderly and was subsequently arrested. While being placed in the police cruiser, the accused spat and kicked at the officers. No injuries were reported.

Residential Burglary – On December 28th at 10:42AM, police responded to the 15900 block of Dolphin Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was inside her residence when she heard a loud noise. Upon checking the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown male on her screened-in porch. The male had used a sharp object to cut the screen on the locked door in order to make entry onto the porch. The homeowner screamed and the male suspect took off running, meeting up with a second male in the backyard before fleeing the area. Officers established a perimeter around the neighborhood. An officer observed two males matching the description provided by the homeowner and a witness in the area of Chapman Dr. The investigation determined that the two subjects, both juveniles, stopped by the officer were the responsible for the burglary. Following the investigation both juveniles were subsequently arrested.
