PWC police beat for 12/21/12

**ARRESTS**

Embezzlement- On December 19th Detectives from the Property Crime Unit arrested the accused for Embezzlement.  A representative of Public Works told police that they discovered an embezzlement that occurred on November 9th, 2011 during the course of an audit.  While working for Prince William County Public Work, Ms. Bogart purchased a cell phone with a Public Works account for herself.  While working for Public Works, one of her responsibilities was to purchase cell phones for the agency.  Ms. Bogart was arrested without incident. Arrested - Robin Elaine BOGART, 48, of 13035 Qualls Lane in Woodbridge.  Charged with Embezzlement.  Unknown Court date, released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

Rape – On December 20 at 2:00PM, the victim reported that she was raped by Hans Silvera at his residence in Woodbridge (22191).  The victim, a 20-year old woman from Woodbridge, knew the assailant.  Mr. Silvera was arrested without incident. Arrested – Hans Silvera, 23, of 1451 California St. in Woodbridge.  Charged with one count of Rape by Force, Threat, or Intimidation.  Unknown court date, held on no bond. 

Obtaining Money by False Pretenses – On December 8 at 5:42PM, officers responded to the 1400-block of Forest Lane in Woodbridge (22191) in regards to a larceny.  The victim, a 50-year old woman, reported that a family friend had been stealing money and jewelry valued in excess of $9,900.00 from her during the previous month while living in the victim’s house.  The victim noticed items were missing from the house and confronted Ms. Thompson with her suspicions. Arrrested – Heather Elizabeth Thompson, 18, of 60 Stonegate Place in Stafford, VA.  Charged with 2 counts of Obtaining Money or Goods in Excess of $200 by False Pretenses and 1 count of Grand Larceny.  Unknown court date, released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

**INCIDENTS**
Burglary – On December 20, officers responded to the 14500 block of Pratt Street in Woodbridge (22191).  The resident reported that between December 18 and 19, someone entered his residence and stole a Sig Sauer .40 caliber pistol and an Apple iPad valued at $850.  The victim is a 44-year old male.  The point of entry is unknown.

Robbery – On December 20 at 7:30PM, officers responded to the intersection of Wayside Drive at Jefferson Davis Highway (Route 1) in the Dumfries area (22026) for a report of a robbery.  The victim, a 23-year old male, reported that he was walking on Wayside Drive when he was approached by 2 males.  They punched him in the face and relieved him of a computer bag he was carrying that contained personal documents.  The suspects were last seen running in the area of Mountain Laurel Loop.
Suspect 1 – Black male, 25-30 years of age, 6’, muscular build, wearing a grey and black hoodie and gray sweats.
Suspect 2 – Black male, 20-0 years of age, 5’ 5”, thin build, wearing a red and black heavy coat and black stocking cap.

Robbery – On December 20 at 10:05PM, officers responded to the 14300-block of Westminster Lane in Dale City (22193) for a robbery.  The victims, a 20-year old male and 21-year old male, reported that they were robbed of $15 cash by the suspect as they approached their apartment building.  The suspect was last seen running toward the intersection of Westminster Lane and Worchester Drive.
Suspect – Black male, 19-24 years old, 6’ 3”, 210 pounds, medium beard, wearing a black beanie cap, black hoodie, and dark pants, carrying what appeared to be a black handgun (no further description).
