**ARRESTS**
Felony Child Neglect | Brandishing – On December 16th at 12:32AM, police responded to the 16600 block of Fern Pl in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 26 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and brandished a handgun before taking their child, a 3 year old girl, and leaving the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Officers located the accused walking in the area of Powells Creek Blvd and Sherwood Pl. The accused was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested following the investigation. The child was also found with the accused and was not injured.

Eric Maurice Mond DRAYTON, 34, of the 16600 block of Fern Pl in Woodbridge
Charged with felony child neglect, brandishing and domestic assault & battery
Court date unavailable, held on a $5,000 secured bond
Narcotics Investigation – On December 18th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of marijuana with the execution of 2 search warrants at 12800 Kahns Rd in Manassas (20112) and at 8626 Arbee Ct in Nokesville (20181). As a result of both searches, marijuana, mushrooms, packaging material, a handgun and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. A 17 year old male juvenile was also connected to this investigation. Charges are pending.

Richard James OCKSRIDER, 21, of 12800 Kahns Rd in Manassas
Charged with 3 counts of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of a schedule I or II narcotic (mushrooms) and possession of a firearm with narcotics
Court date set for February 1, 2013, bond information unavailable
**INCIDENTS**
Burglary while Armed – On December 19th at 12:33AM, police responded to the 3400 block of Belleplain Ct in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that 2 armed men entered the residence through an unlocked front door. Once inside, the men demanded money from the homeowner and several other occupants of the residence who were present at time. One of the men struck the homeowner in the face causing minor injuries before they took a backpack containing a laptop and other items and fled out of the residence on foot. This incident does not appear to be random.
Lookout:
2 black males, all reported to be between 16 & 20 years of age, around 5’7”-5’8”, 130lbs with medium builds
One of the men was wearing a red jacket, both men wore masks
Armed Robbery – On December 19th at 1:25AM, police responded to area of Minnieville Rd and Bluefin Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 26 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was in the area above when he was approached by 4 unknown men. Each suspect displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim. One of the men struck the victim with a firearm causing minor injuries. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing the area on foot.
Lookout:
4 black males, all reported to be between 18 & 20 years of age, around 5’8”, 150lbs with thin builds
All were last seen wearing all black clothing including masks.
Attempted Armed Robbery – On December 18th at 6:35AM, police responded to the 7-11 located at 18750 Fuller Heights Rd in Triangle (22172) for a robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown man, with his face covered, entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. A customer entered the store which caused the suspect to flee. No injuries were reported and no money was taken.

Male, unknown race, between 25 & 35 years of age, 5’7”, medium build
Last seen wearing a tan colored heavy jacket, blue jeans, gray hooded sweatshirt, gloves and black shoes
