PWC police beat for 12/14/12

**INCIDENTS**

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 13th at 9:54PM, police responded to the Candlewood Suites located at 11220 Balls Ford Rd in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. A clerk reported to police that an unknown man and woman entered the hotel lobby, approached the counter and demanded money. No weapon was seen or implied. The man and woman took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and fled the area, possibly in a green Jeep Cherokee. A K-9 was utilized in the search. No suspects were located. No injuries were reported.

Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 8:39PM, police responded to the 18200 block of Macrae Ct in Triangle (22172) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that they were inside their residence when an unknown man entered through an unlocked front door and confronted them. The man stated he was looking for someone and appeared to have been under the influence. The homeowner and other occupants were able to get the man out of the house. No property was reported missing.

Black male, between 23 & 27 years of age, 6’0”-6’4”, 160-180lbs, thin build
Last seen wearing a black and gray hooded sweatshirt, black face mask and gray pants

Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 3:47PM, police responded to the 8500 block of Cold Harbor Lp in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:00PM and 2:30PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made though an unsecured door. A gaming console, 2 laptops and 2 cell phones, valued around $1,900, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 2:00PM, police responded to the 14200 block of Ferndale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:45AM and 2:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window which had been broken out. A laptop, gaming console and iPhone, valued around $850, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 13th at 12:27PM, police responded to the 14200 block of Savannah Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on November 26th and 5:00PM on December 12th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A microwave, washer & dryer, a cabinet and a mirror, valued around $1,700, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 12th at 7:29PM, police responded to the 7900 block of Meadow Ct in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30AM and 7:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been broken out. A TV, DVD player, camera, jewelry and ammunition, valued around $1,200, were reported missing.

Attempted Commercial Burglary – On December 11th at 2:06PM, police responded to the 5Twelve located at 7420 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for an attempted burglary.  Employees reported to police that between 3:30AM and 4:00AM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the business through the front door which had been damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the business and no property was reported missing. 

Attempted Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 8:03PM, police responded to the 1400 block of Ranger Lp in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 1:45PM and 6:45PM, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence through the front door which had been damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
