PWC police beat for 12/12/12

ARRESTS
Rape – On December 11th at 5:05PM, police and detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau responded to investigate a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 14100 block of Morrison Ct in Woodbridge (22193). The victim, a 20 year old woman of Dumfries, reported to police that she was visiting the accused, a known acquaintance, at his residence in the above area. While there, the accused raped the victim. Following the encounter, the victim went to the hospital where police were contacted. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Jamar Lee ANDERSON, 21, of 14132 Morrison Ct in Woodbridge
Charged with rape
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

INCIDENTS
Residential Burglary – On December 11th at 6:32PM, police responded to the 2900 block of Woodburn Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear window. Jewelry, valued around $1,000, was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On December 11th at 1:37PM, police responded to the 4100 block of Yellow Stone Lp in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. The residence was undergoing repairs at the time of the burglary. Property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30PM on December 10th and 9:30AM on December 11th.Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been pried open. A paint sprayer, valued around $400, was reported missing.
