UPDATES
2008 Armed Robbery *ARREST – On Feb. 22, 2012, detectives received a confirmation DNA hit which identified the accused, MCCOY, as the suspect involved in the robbery at the Shoppers Food Warehouse in Gainesville from October, 2008. The accused was located at a prison in Pennsylvania where he was being held on unrelated charges.
On Nov. 27, 2012, the accused was transferred to Washington DC where the warrants pertaining to this case were served. On Dec. 5, 2012, the accused was extradited to Prince William County. During the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit further learned that the second employee present at the time of the robbery knew the accused and was involved in the planning of the robbery.
On Dec.7, 2012, the employee, ONUNAKU, was located in Norfolk VA where she was detained and later arrested for her part in the robbery. ONUNAKU is currently in a Norfolk jail awaiting extradition back to Prince William County.

Richard Ashley MCCOY, 28, of no fixed address
Charged with robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony
Court date set for May 23, 2013, held WITHOUT bond

Nnenna Jeanette ONUNAKU, 26, of 5330 Marfield Dr in Norfolk
Charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony
Court date set for January 30, 2013, held WITHOUT bond awaiting extradition
Armed Robbery (Previously Released) – On October 16th [of 2008] at 10:55PM, police responded to the Shoppers Food Warehouse located at 7471 Somerset Crossing Dr in Gainesville (20155) for a robbery. An employee, a 20 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was standing outside of the store when she was approached by an unknown man. The man displayed a handgun and forced the victim back into the store and to an office. A second employee, a 22 year old woman of Manassas, was also in the office when the man and first employee entered. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and fled the store. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search of the suspect. The K-9 lead officers and detectives to clothing which matched the description of the suspect. The clothing was believed to have been discarded by the suspect while he fled. DNA was collected from the clothing and sent to a lab for further analysis.
**ARRESTS**
Abduction | Assault & Battery – On December 8th at 7:16PM, police responded to the 10100 block of Parkview Dr in Manassas (20109) for an assault. The victim, a 40 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were at her residence when he assaulted her. The accused followed the victim to a bedroom where the assault took place. The victim attempted to leave the room, at which point, the accused blocked the doorway. The victim was able to get out of the room and was attempting to call police when the accused purposely knocked the phone out of her hand. After the encounter, the accused fled the residence taking prescription medication belonging to the victim with him. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused. The accused was located at this residence in Warrenton by Fauquier County Sheriff deputies the next day.

Gilbert Brian MAUCK, 41, of 7316 Moss Ln in Warrenton
Charged with abduction, assault & battery, preventing a 911 call and petit larceny
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond
INCIDENTS
Commercial Burglary – On December 11th at 4:17AM, police responded to the Quick Mart located at 18020 Main St in Dumfries (22026) for an alarm. Officers arrived at the location and discovered a side door had been pried open. Officers and a police K-9 checked the business. No one was located. Surveillance footage showed two masked suspects entering the business and taking an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing on foot. Images will be released when available.

Residential Burglary – On December 10th at 6:52PM, police responded to the 8100 block of Leland Rd in Manassas (20110) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 5:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. A TV, valued around $2,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 10th at 5:30PM, police responded to the 15300 block of Inlet Pl in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM and 5:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement level door which had been forced open. And undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 10th at 12:44PM, police responded to the 1300 block of G St in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was on an upper level of her residence when she heard noises coming from the basement. Someone is believed to have entered the basement through an unlocked door. Miscellaneous items were reported missing.
