**INCIDENTS**
Found Human Remains – On December 9th at 1:28PM, police responded to the 17900 block of Joplin Rd in Triangle (22172) for a report of discovered human remains. Runners in the area located a possible human skull while running on a trail in Prince William Forest Park. Only a skull was located. The skull has since been taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for further examination. No other information is available at this time.
Armed Robbery – On December 9th at 5:54AM, police responded to the Super 8 Motel located at 7249 New Market Ct in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. An employee reported to police that he was working at the front desk when 2 unknown men entered the lobby. One of the men approached the counter, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the clerk before fleeing out of the lobby and getting into a green colored vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Strong Armed Robbery – On December 8th at 1:00AM, police responded to the 2400 block of Kilpatrick Pl in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. The victim, a 56 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking back to his residence when he was approached by 2 unknown men. The men assaulted the victim and took his wallet and cell phone before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported.

Assault by Mob – On December 9th at 9:03PM, police responded to the 19300 block of Belleau Woods Dr in Triangle (22172) for an attempted robbery. The victim, a 20 year old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she was getting belongings out of her vehicle when she was approached by 2 unknown men. The men grabbed the victim and knocked her to the ground where they continued to assault her. The victim was able to get up and run from the area. No property was reported missing. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On December 8th at 4:57PM, police responded to the 2500 block of Sedgewick Pl in Dumfries (22026) for a shots fired call. The homeowner reported to police that earlier that morning, around 1:00AM, an unknown person(s) fired a round into her residence. The round traveled through the residence. No injuries were reported.
Residential Burglary – On December 9th at 4:37PM, police responded to the 7800 block of West Point Ct in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:00PM on December 8th and 4:00PM on December 9th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. Jewelry, a TV and 3 cell phones, valued around $2,000, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 9th at 4:31PM, police responded to the 18300 block of Old Triangle Rd in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:30PM on November 25th and 3:00PM on December 9th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked door. Appliances, valued around $2,400, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 8th at 8:16PM, police responded to the 9200 block of Ashley Park Ln in Bristow (20136) for an alarm. Officers arrived at the residence and discovered a rear basement level window broken out. The residence was searched. No one was located inside. Jewelry, valued around $45,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 8th at 7:41PM, police responded to the 7800 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00AM on December 4th and 7:00PM on December 8th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, valued around $700, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 7th at 9:15PM, police responded to the 16900 block of Point Pleasant Ln in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM and 6:30PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. An iPad and iPod, valued around $900, and undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 7th at 8:00PM, police responded to the 9400 block of Smokey Bear Ct in Bristow (20136) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:45PM and 8:06PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear glass door which had been broken out. Jewelry, valued around $35,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 7th at 3:05PM, police responded to the 12700 block of Hunterbrook Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 3:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked window. Jewelry, valued around $150,000, and undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing. The homeowner’s dog was also missing from the residence.
Commercial Burglary – On December 7th at 3:00PM, police responded to BMK Engineering, Inc. located at 2235 Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30PM on December 6th and 2:40PM on December 7th. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been pried open. Two laptops and other items, valued around $7,000, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 7th at 11:18AM, police responded to the 2600 block of Constitution Cl in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM on December 6th and 9:30PM on December 7th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked door. A purse and several gift cards, valued around $900, were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On December 7th at 9:45AM, police responded to the Panda Chinese Restaurant located at 2241 Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00PM on December 6th and 9:45AM on December 7th. Entry appeared to have been made through a window which had been broken out. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 11:32AM, police responded to the 14400 block of Brook Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 11:15AM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. Miscellaneous collectables, valued around $13,000, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On December 6th at 7:40AM, police responded to the 15400 block of Beach View Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30PM on December 5th and 4:30AM on December 6th. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached garage through an open door. Tools and other items, valued around $900, were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Armed Robbery – On December 8th at 4:11PM, police responded to the 9500 block of Greenwich Rd in Nokesville (20181) for a robbery. The victim, a 48 year old man of Warrenton, reported to police that he and the accused, his roommate, were at their address in Warrenton when the accused began to act irrational. The victim left the residence and drove to the area above to meet up with his friends. The accused drove to the location as well where he confronted the victim with a handgun and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. No injuries were reported. Officers located the accused the next day.

Charged with robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Attempted Malicious Wounding | Hit & Run – On December 7th at 11:42PM, responded to the area of Springwoods Dr and Glenridge Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a crash involving a pedestrian. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 20 year old woman of Woodbridge, was traveling in a vehicle with the accused in the area above. The victim reported that the accused began to act erratic and wanted to get out of the vehicle. In doing so, the she was struck by the vehicle and knocked to the ground. The accused then fled. The victim sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. The accused was eventually arrested.

Unlawful Wounding | Brandishing a Firearm – On December 8th at 2:07AM, police responded to the 18300 block of Cabin Rd in Triangle (22172) for a domestic. The victim, a 22 year old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused displayed a handgun and held it to the victim’s head. In the process, the handgun caused a laceration to the victim’s head. No shots were fired. The accused fled the residence prior to police arrival. Minor injuries were reported. The accused returned to the residence around 4:45AM where he was arrested without further incident.

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery – On December 8th at 8:00AM, police responded to the100 block of Turtle Point Dr in Gainesville (20155) for a domestic. The victim, a 21 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she was in the area above when she was approached by the accused, a known acquaintance. The accused displayed a knife and forced the victim into his vehicle. Following a verbal altercation in the vehicle, the accused let the victim go. Minor Injuries were reported. The accused left the area prior to police arrival but was located at his residence a short time later.
