Strangulation – On October 17th at 9:30AM, police responded to Woodbridge Senior High School located at 3001 Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 15 year old male of Woodbridge, was in a restroom within the school along with a group of other students, including the accused, a known acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused became upset and placed his arm around the neck of the victim. The victim became limp, at which point, the accused dropped him to the floor causing the victim to hit his head on the concrete floor. The victim was flown to an area hospital as a precaution. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently charged and released to parents.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 17th at 12:26PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Jurgenson Dr in Triangle (22172) for an armed burglary. The victim, a 47 year old male of Triangle, reported to police that at he heard a knock on his door and when he opened it he saw two males, one of which was armed with a handgun. The victim was able to close the door while the subjects attempted to force their way in. No entry was made into the residence and no injuries were reported. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle. This incident was not random.

Residential Burglary – On October 17th at 9:05PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Fellmore Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported that the burglary occurred between 8:20PM and 8:40PM. Entry appears to have been made through a side window which had been broken out. A TV and multiple pairs of shoes, valued at approximately $4,000 were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 8:55PM, police responded to the 14000 block of Essex Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:30AM and 8:50PM. There was no sign of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, jewelry and power tools, valued around $2,000, in addition to an undisclosed amount of US Currency, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 5:09PM, police responded to the 14300 block of Fairmont Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 1:00PM. There was no sign of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, tablet and multiple video games, valued around $1,200 were reported missing.
