**INCIDENTS**
Residential Burglary – On October 15th at 7:10PM, police responded to the 18500 block of Cabin Rd in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 7:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. Jewelry, a laptop and 2 gaming consoles, valued around $1,300, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On October 15th at 3:02PM, police responded to the 18400 block of Old Triangle Rd (22172) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on October 1st and 3:00PM on October 15th. Entry appeared to have been made through a door which had been pried open. A motorcycle, tool chest, tires and a refrigerator, valued around $5,500, were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 16th at 3:22AM, police responded to the 1900 block of Briar Rose Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 10:00PM on October 15th and 3:15AM on October 16th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door which was found open. A swing lock prevented the door from being opened. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On October 15th at 6:04PM, police responded to the 6000 block of Ponhill Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 2:00PM and 4:30PM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through rear windows which were found open and screens removed. No entry is believed to have been made and no items were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Reckless Handling of a Firearm | Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling – On October 15th at 11:58PM, police responded to the Prince William Hospital to investigate a shooting which was reported to have occurred in the 8100 block of Portwood Tn in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the accused had shot himself in the foot while inside his residence in the above area. After the shooting, the accused was taken to the hospital by a friend where police were notified. No other injuries or property damage were reported. The accused sustained non-life threatening injuries and was charged. When officers conducted a search of the residence, marijuana was located.
