Armed Robbery *ARREST – On September 11, Darius Lamont DAVIS turned himself into police without incident at the Gar-Field Station in Woodbridge. The accused was wanted for a robbery which occurred in the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries on August 18. The investigation continues.
Arrested on September 11:
Darius Lamont DAVIS, 21, of the 18317 Chestnut Point in Triangle
Charged with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Armed Robbery *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED [Previously Released] – On August 23, detectives from the Gang Unit identified one of the suspects involved in the robbery which occurred in the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries on August 18. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of this suspect, identified as Darius Lamont DAVIS. Attempts to locate DAVIS have been unsuccessful.

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On August 18 at 10:38PM, officers responded to the 18000 block of Fraley Blvd in the Town of Dumfries (22026) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 42-year-old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking in the area of White Haven Dr and Main St when he was approached by two acquaintances. During the encounter, the victim was punched in the face knocking him to the ground. The suspects then took the victim’s cell phone and demanded money. When the victim refused, one of the men brandished a handgun and forced the victim to walk to a nearby business in order to retrieve money from an ATM machine. While in the business, a Town of Dumfries police officer on routine patrol entered the business and the suspects fled the area. The victim then made contact with the officer. Minor injuries were reported. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.

**INCIDENTS**

Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle – On September 11 at 12:45AM, officers responded to the area of Portici Pl and Williamson Blvd in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting call. The victim, a 58-year-old man of Lorton, reported to police that he was driving in the above area when a rear window of the vehicle was shattered by a two bullets from an unknown shooter. No injuries or property damage were reported. Officers checked the area and located several shell casings. The investigation continues.

Strong Armed Robbery – On September 11 at 1:24AM, officers responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that morning. The victim, a 36-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by three unknown men. During the encounter, the suspects assaulted the victim with a belt then took the victim’s cell phone before fleeing the area on foot.  The victim could only describe the suspects as Hispanic men. Minor injuries were reported.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm – On September 11 at 1:05AM, officers responded to the 12800 block of Kahn Rd in Manassas (20112) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that he was hosting a party at his residence in the above area when an unknown dark vehicle stopped in front of the residence.  An unknown man stepped out of the vehicle and fired several shots into the air. The man then got back into the vehicle and drove away. Officers checked the area and located a shell casing in the roadway. No injuries or property damage were reported. No suspect information is available at this time. The investigation continues.

Residential Burglary – On September 11 at 4:21AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2100 block of Gunsmith Terr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00PM on September 10 and 4:00AM on September 11. Entry was made into the residence through a rear glass door which was shattered. Shoes, a laptop computer, credit card, and a gaming console were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 10 at 9:42AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2600 block of Lookout Rd in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police sometime between 9:00PM on September 9 and 8:00AM on September 10, entry was attempted into the residence through several window which screens were found damaged. No entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
