Malicious Wounding
On Sept. 7 at 6:37 p.m., police responded to investigate an alleged stabbing, which was reported to have occurred in the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road in Triangle. The female victim, 52 of Lorton, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife to the upper body. The victim then deflected a second attempt sustained a second superficial wound. The victim was able to get away and contact police. The accused fled the scene but was located and arrested. Arrested: Earnest James White, 45, of 19328 Belleau Woods Dr. #102 in Triangle. Charged with malicious wounding. Court date and bond information unavailable.

Burglary to a Church
On Sept. 7 at 8:08 p.m., police responded to the Spriggs Road Presbyterian Church at 13201 Spriggs Road in Manassas for a burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 6 p.m. Sept. 4 and 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 7. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window, which had been broken out.
