Armed Robbery / Malicious Wounding
ARRESTPolice developed a suspect in the below listed armed robbery that was reported to have occurred in the drive thru of the Taco Bell on Harbor Drive in Woodbridge on Aug. 18. On Sept. 25, police arrested the accused without incident. Arrested: Javion Antonio Stewart, 21, of 13005 Bristow Road in Bristow. Charged with robbery, malicious wounding and the use of a firearm in commission of a felony. Court date set for Oct. 24, 2011, held without bond.
Armed Robbery / Malicious Wounding (Previously released)
On Aug. 18 at 12:51 a.m., police responded to the Taco Bell at 12721 Harbor Dr. in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 58 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was in his vehicle in line at the drive-thru when an unknown man approached his driver’s side window, displayed a handgun and demanded money. When the victim refused, the man struck several times in the face with the handgun before he grabbed the victim’s wallet and fled the area on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. Police extensively searched the area but did not locate the assailant.
Burglary
ARREST
On Sept. 23, police arrested the accused in connection to the burglary on Hawk Court, which was reported to have occurred sometime between August and September of this year. Arrested: Joshua Hunter Harley, 21, of 13510 Kingsman Road in Woodbridge. Charged with burglary, grand larceny and destruction of property. Court date and bond information unavailable.
Burglary (Previously Released)
On Sept. 12 at 7:48 p.m., police responded to the 4500 block of Hawk Ct. in Dale City for a burglary to a vacant home. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between midnight Aug. 10 and 3:20 p.m. Sept. 12. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Copper piping valued around $100 was reported missing.
ARRESTS
Assault by Mob
On Sept. 24 at 5:09 p.m., police responded to the 13500 block of Hillendale Dr. in Woodbridge for a fight. The female victims, 16 and 45 both of Woodbridge, reported to police that they were both assaulted in the area above after a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance, and two other females, one being a juvenile. During the encounter, the victims sustained minor injuries. The fight dispersed and the victims contacted police. The accused was located and arrested. Investigation continues. Arrested: Latannya Nichole Milburn, 35, of 4303 Granby St. in Woodbridge. Charged with two counts of assault by mob and one contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Court date and bond information unavailable.
Strong Armed Robbery
On Sept. 24 at 11:46 p.m., police responded to the 4100 block of Old Bridge Road in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 26 of Stafford, reported to police he was in the area above when he observed the accused assaulted an unknown female. The victim attempted to intervene and was assaulted himself. During the encounter, the accused took a backpack belonging to the victim and fled the scene. Witnesses were able to provide police with the identity of the accused who was located and arrested. The female left the area prior to police arrival. The victim sustained minor injuries. Arrested: William Benedict Perry, 29, of 6125 Trident Lane in Woodbridge. Charged with robbery and two counts of destruction of property. Court date set for Sept. 25, 2011, held on a $2,500 secured bond.
Strong Armed Robbery
On Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m., police responded to the area of Old Bridge Road and Springwoods Drive in Occoquan for a robbery. The male victim, 14 of Woodbridge, reported to police he had arranged to sell his tennis shoes to a known male acquaintance. The victim met up with the male acquaintance and another male in the area of Mid Summer Lane. The two males guided the victim to a path between residences off of Mid Summer Lane where he encountered two unknown males. The unknown males grabbed the victim and began to assault him. During the encounter, the first two males fled the area while the two unknown males took the victim’s backpack containing a pair of shoes and an iPod valued around $400. The victim sustained minor injuries. Police were able to identify one of the two unknown male assailants involved, a juvenile. Investigation continues. Arrested: A 17 year old male of Woodbridge. Charged with robbery. Court date unavailable, held at a juvenile detention facility.
Burglary
On Sept. 23 at 7:48 a.m., police responded to the 3700 block of Katie Place in Triangle for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police the accused, a known acquaintance, had entered an unlocked attached garage door to the residence then cut a hole in the wall to gain entry into the main residence. Once inside, the accused went upstairs and confronted the homeowner who called police. The accused fled prior to police arrival but was located a short distance from the residence and arrested. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Hien Van Ho, 43, no fixed address. Charged with burglary with intent to commit assault. Court date unavailable, held without bond.
Domestic Assault & Battery
On Sept. 23 at 7:58 p.m., police responded to the 12800 block of Noltland Castle Dr. in Bristow for a domestic. The male victim, 21 of Bristow, reported to police he and the accused, a known acquaintance, had gotten into a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter the accused allegedly assaulted him. The victim sustained minor injuries. The accused was arrested without incident and is an employee of the Fairfax County Police Department. Arrested: Brian James Sonnenberg, 44, of Bristow. Charged with domestic assault and battery. Court date and bond information unavailable.

On Sept. 25 at 10:04 a.m., police responded to the 14100 block of Logan Ct. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 and 7 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked window. Miscellaneous items valued around $155 were reported missing.
Burglary
On Sept. 24 at 2 p.m., police responded to the 13600 block of Greenwood Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary to a vacant residence. Property owner reported to police the burglary occurred between 4 p.m. Sept. 20 and 2 p.m. Sept. 24. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. Copper piping valued around $200 was reported missing from water heater, which caused around $2,000 in damage and natural gas to leak into the residence.

On Sept. 24 at 1:50 p.m., police responded to the 7400 block of Forrester Lane in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 1 p.m. Sept. 23 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 24. Entry appeared to have been made through an opened lower level bedroom window. Miscellaneous items valued around $100 were reported missing.
Burglary to Business
On Sept. 24 at 2:25 a.m., police responded to Grace Jewelers at 7551 Somerset Crossing Dr. in Gainesville for an alarm. Police located the business with the front glass door broken out. A steel gate was in place preventing entry into the main business, however two front window displayed were broken into. Jewelry valued around $1,000 was reported missing.

On Sept. 23 at 9:54 p.m., police responded to the 2900 block of Cantania Pl. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. and 9:15 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. A watch and bracelet valued around $1,500 were reported missing.

On Sept. 23 at 6:19 p.m., police responded to the 13200 block of Hillendale Dr. in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:05 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked rear sliding glass door. A handgun and magazine valued around $500, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

On Sept. 23 at 8:43 a.m., police responded to LKQ Automotive at 17445 Old Stage Coach Road in Dumfries for a burglary. Employee reported to police the burglary occurred between 12:12 a.m. and 2 a.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window that had been broken out. Some 30 catalytic converters valued around $3,000 were reported missing.

On Sept. 22 at 5:47 p.m., police responded to the 5500 block of Shadybrook Dr in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unlocked rear window. Gaming consoles, related equipment/games and jewelry valued around $2,200 were reported missing.

On Sept. 19 at 12:04 a.m., police responded to the 10900 block of Coverstone Dr. in Manassas for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police she heard a noise coming from another part of the residence. Shortly after hearing the noise, she noticed items missing from her residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked window. A cell phone and camera valued around $45 were reported missing.
Attempted Burglary
On Sept. 24 at 12:18 a.m., police responded to the 9600 block of Bonair Dr in Manassas for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police she heard a noise coming from her second story bedroom window. When she looked over, she observed a shadow figure looking in her window. The homeowner screamed and the shadow left. No entry was gained and no items reported missing.
