**INCIDENTS**
Strong Armed Robbery – On September 16th at 12:00PM, police responded to the BB&T Bank located at 7801 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The victim, a 51 year old man of Stephens City, reported to police that he had just left the bank after cashing a check when he was approached from behind by an unknown man in the parking lot. During a confrontation, the suspect attempted to pepper spray the victim to his face but missed. The suspect then knocked the victim to the ground and took his backpack containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the area on a bicycle. Minor injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 20 & 29 years of age, 5’9”, 200lbs with a heavy build, medium complexion, and long, black deadlocks
Last seen wearing a black shirt, long black pants, and hat
Attempted Residential Burglary – On September 16th at 8:10AM, police responded to the 3300 block of Dry Powder Cir in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she was asleep inside and awoke to an unknown man cutting the screen to her bedroom window. At that point, the homeowner opened the blinds covering the window and the suspect fled. No entry was made into the residence. A police K-9 was called to search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Light skinned black or Hispanic male, unknown age, 5’9” with a medium build
Last seen wearing a dark blue sweatshirt and dark blue pants
**ARRESTS**
Malicious Wounding | Abduction – On September 16th at 4:36PM, police responded to the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic dispute. The victim, a 58 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim multiple times to her face. At one point, the accused used physical force to prevent the victim from leaving the residence to get help. Eventually the victim was able to break free of the recused and flee the residence. The victim was able to flag down a neighbor who then contacted police. The victim sustained significant, but non-life threatening, injuries to her face and was treated at an area hospital. The accused fled the area prior to police arrival but was located and arrested later that evening.

Wilbur Jacarie REED, 33, of the 1200 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding and abduction

Narcotics Investigation – On August 9th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the distribution of suspected cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 9007 Tyler Ct in Manassas (20109). As a result of the investigation, cocaine and other evidence were recovered. The following arrest was also made without incident. This arrest was previously held for investigative purposes.

Kevin Edward BURRELL, 41, of 9007 Tyler Ct in Manassas
Charged with distribution of a schedule I/II narcotic
Court date: September 23, 2013 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond [at the time of arrest]
Narcotics Investigation – On August 8th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspect cocaine with the execution of two search warrants at 11319 Kessler Pl in Manassas (20109) and at 7808 McLean St in Manassas (20111). As a result of the investigation, marijuana, cocaine, packaging material and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The following arrests were also made during the investigation. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.

Barrington Allen MOORE, 24, of 11319 Kessler Pl in Manassas
Charged with distribution of a schedule I/II narcotic
Court date: October 11, 2013 | Bond: $6,000 secured [at the time of arrest]
Jarrell Marquise GAYMON, 18, of 7808 McLean St in Manassas
Charged with distribution of a schedule I/II narcotic and distribution of marijuana
Court date: October 11, 2013 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond [at the time of arrest]
