INCIDENTS

Residential Burglary – On August 2, 2012 at 9:29 p.m., police responded to the 3200 block of Foothill St in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A laptop, 2 gaming consoles with related games and equipment, and other items, valued around $2,000, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On August 1, 2012 at 7:13 p.m., police responded to the 14400 block of Belvedere Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been forced open. Jewelry, valued around $10,000, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 1, 2012 at 12:22 p.m., police responded to the 3600 block of Felmore Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that he heard a knock coming from the front door around noon. Upon checking the noise, the homeowner looked through a peephole and observed an unknown man at the door. The homeowner did not answer the door, and approximately 15 minuts later, heard glass breaking from a rear window. No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing. The homeowner was unable to provide police with a description of the man.
