**INCIDENTS**
Stolen Vehicle | Hit & Run | Eluding – On August 29th at 10:16AM, officers from the Dumfries Town police and Prince William County police departments responded to the area of Williamstown Dr and Fraley Blvd in Dumfries (22026) for a stolen vehicle in progress. Caller reported to police that he had left his vehicle running in front of an address in the area above when an unknown man got into the vehicle and fled the area. A responding Prince William County officer, traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Hwy, spotted the vehicle traveling northbound in the area of Dumfries Rd. The officer activated his lights and made a U-turn to catch up to the vehicle. While fleeing, the driver crashed the vehicle into a traffic light pole in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and River Heritage Blvd and fled on foot. Officers set up a perimeter in the surrounding streets and a police K-9 and helicopter were used to search for the suspect. This investigation continues to be worked jointly by both agencies.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 18 & 22 years of age, 5’6”, 150lbs with a thin build and black hair
Last seen wearing a gray/white t-shirt and light blue jeans
Strong Armed Robbery – On August 29th at 10:57AM, police responded to the 1400 block of F St in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. The victim, a 22 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that the he was walking in the area above when he was approached by three unknown men. One of the men struck the victim, knocking him to the ground and demanded money. Once on the ground, the man grabbed the victim’s phone before the men fled on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for minor injuries. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects.
Suspect Descriptions:
3 black males, all reported to be between 20 & 25 years of age—
1st male was 5’11” with black hair and brown eyes
Last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans
2nd male was 5’11” with black, shoulder length dreadlocks and green eyes
Last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans
3rd male – no further description provided to police
Residential Burglary – On August 29th at 5:53PM, police responded to the 8500 block of Charnwood Ct in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM and 5:00PM. Entry into the home was made through a rear door which was found damaged. A laptop and tablet with keyboard, total value around $1,700 were reported missing.
