Reckless Driving | Possession of Stolen Property | Escape by Force *ARREST – On August 21st at 10:08PM, officers attempted a warrant service at the listed address for the accused involved in the stolen vehicle and foot pursuit incident from earlier that day. As officers were making contact at the residence, the accused out of a back door and into a nearby wooded area. A police K-9 was used to search for the accused. The K-9 and handler eventually located the accused hiding between two parked vehicles.
Arrested on August 21st:
Ronell Scott Conway LEWIS, 28, of 1443 Maryland Ave in Woodbridge
Charged with reckless driving, possession of stolen property, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, driving on a revoked license, escape with force, and providing false identification to law enforcement

Reckless Driving | Possession of Stolen Property | Escape by Force [Previously Released] – On August 21st at 1:20AM, a Prince William County police officer stopped a vehicle in the 14000 block of Telegraph Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a traffic related offense. During the stop, the officer learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen by another law enforcement agency in July. As the officer was attempting to arrest the driver, he pushed off of the vehicle causing the officer to step backwards. At that point, the accused fled on foot. A police K-9 was called to assist in the search for the man. During a search of the vehicle, officers further learned that the driver had provided them with a false identity and also located multiple baggies of suspected marijuana. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants against the accused.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On August 21st at 9:09PM, police responded to the KFC located at 1307 Devils Reach Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that two unknown males entered the business where one of the men approached the counter to make a transaction. Once the register was opened, the suspect reach over the counter, pushed the victim back, and took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. During the encounter, the other suspect displayed a handgun and pointed it towards the victim. After taking the money, both suspects fled on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search for the suspects.
Suspect Descriptions:
2 black males, both reported to be between 18 & 19 years of age—
1st male was light skinned, between 6’0”-6’1”, 170lbs with a thin build, short black hair, and a mustache
Last seen wearing a gray wooded sweatshirt with blue, black, and white dots and blue jeans

2nd male [armed suspect] was dark skinned, between 5’7”-5’8”, 180lbs, with a mohawk haircut and mustache
Last seen wearing a long sleeve black dress shirt with a white t-shirt underneath, black dress pants, and black casual shoes

Strong Armed Robbery – On August 21st at 9:05PM, police responded to Potomac Mills Mall located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. The victim, a 33 year old man of Delmar, reported to police that he was leaning up against a wall just outside of the Nordstrom Rack when he was approached by an unknown man. The man struck the victim to his chest causing him to drop his phone. The suspect picked up the phone and fled the mall on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was used in the search for the suspect.
Suspect Description:
White male, possibly Hispanic, between 17 & 25 years of age, 5’9”, 175lbs with a muscular build and collar length, curly black hair
Last seen wearing a blue shirt, possibly a soccer jersey

Residential Burglary – On August 18th at 4:53PM, police responded to the 6000 block of Trident Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 4:00AM on August 15th and 2:15PM on August 18th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made though the front door. Silverware, valued around $30, was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault | Domestic Assault & Battery – On August 21st at 8:43PM, police responded to the 4500 block of Sparrow Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 43 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that the accused, a known acquaintance, forced his way into the residence by breaking the front door. Once inside, the accused confronted the victim and assaulted her. Another resident of the home was able to break up the altercation. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Shannon Patrick MCLAUGHLIN, 35, of no fixed address
Charged with burglary with intent to commit assault and domestic assault & battery

Brandishing a Weapon – On August 21st at 6:44PM, police responded to the Walgreens located at 14083 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a brandishing. The victim, a 33 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was exiting the store when he observed two vehicles pulled into the parking lot. The drivers of both vehicles then reportedly got out of the vehicles and brandished firearms toward one another. At one point the men brandished their weapons toward the victim. No shots were fired. Both men got into their vehicles and fled prior to police arrival. Responding officers located one of the vehicles in the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Blackburn Rd where one of the parties, the accused, was arrested without further incident. The second suspect was not located.

Steven James BERNARD, 23, of 15400 Mendoza Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with brandishing a firearm
Court date: unavailable | Bond: $2,000 unsecured
