ARRESTS

Aggravated Sexual Battery – On August 15, 2012, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau concluded an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 7500 block of Alleghany Rd in Manassas (20111). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 19-year-old woman who resided in Manassas at the time of the offenses, was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known family member, on several occasions when she was a child. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. Arrested: Keith Eugene YOUNG, 47, of the 14742 Hackwood Ct in Woodbridge. Charged with 3 counts of object sexual penetration, 1 count of indecent liberties with a minor and 1 count of aggravated sexual battery. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.

Assault & Battery on Correctional Officer – On August 17, 2012 at 5:18 p.m., police responded to the Adult Detention Center [ADC] located at 9320 Lee Ave in Manassas (20110) for an assault call. The investigation revealed that as another inmate was being released, the accused attempted to escape the ADC through the same door. As an ADC Officer attempted to intervene, the accused struck the officer in the shoulder. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Joshua Lamar PENDLETON, 25, of 8501 Brigade Ln in Manassas. Charged with assault & battery on correctional officer and attempted escape with force. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond. 

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On August 17, 2012 at 4:30 a.m., a Prince William County police officer was at the Garfield Station lockup, located at 15948 Donald Curtis Dr in Woodbridge (22191), processing the accused on a marijuana charge. During the encounter, the accused became irate with the officer and refused to follow commands. At one point, the accused swung at the officer, grazing him in the face. Other officers were able to assist in controlling the accused. No injuries were reported. Arrested: Endeela KHALIQ, 44, of 6009 Ticonderoga Ct in Burke. Charged with assault & battery on LEO. Court unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.

INCIDENTS

Residential Burglary – On August 15, 2012 at 9:39 p.m., police responded to the 4100 block of Ashmere Cir in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3:30 p.m. on August 3 and 9:39 p.m. on August 15. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Jewelry, valued around $7,000, was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 19, 2012 at 10:27 a.m., police responded to the 13600 block of St. Mary’s Way in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 1 and 10 a.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence by prying open the front door. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 18, 2012 at 2:34 p.m., police responded to the 2200 block of Scotch Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that at around 1:45 p.m., an unknown man was seen on the deck attempting to enter the residence through a door on the deck. The homeowner confronted the man who then fled the area on foot. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 15, 2012 at 11 p.m., police responded to the 4100 block of Ashmere Ct in Dumfries (22025) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 1 p.m. on August 3 and 7:30 p.m. on August 6, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence by prying open several windows. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing. This incident is possibly related to the above listed residential burglary which was reported on the same street.
