**INCIDENTS**
Commercial Burglaries | Attempted Commercial Burglaries – Between August 16th and August 18th, multiple commercial burglaries or attempted commercial burglaries in the Woodbridge and Dumfries areas were reported to the Prince William County Police Department.
Entry into the businesses were made or attempted through the front glass door during the overnight hours. In cases were entry was made, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing. The Property Crimes Unit is still investigating these cases as possibly being connected. • Commercial Burglary | Attempted Commercial Burglary – On August 18th at 10:54AM, police responded to Golden Nails located at 13544 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30PM on August 17th and 10:45AM on August 18th. Entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing. The owner of a neighboring business, the Center Barber Shop located at 13538 Jefferson Davis Hwy, also reported to police that the front glass door of that business was shattered but still intact. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
• Commercial Burglaries – On August 18th at 7:16AM, police responded to the Clippers Barber Shop located at 13234 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on August 17th and 7:16AM on August 18th. Entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing. The owner of neighboring business, Top Nails located at 13231 Occoquan Rd, also reported to police that an unknown person(s) made entry into that business by breaking out the front glass door during the same time frame. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was also reported missing from that burglary.
• Commercial Burglaries – On August 16th at 9:15AM, police responded to the Stylish Nail Salon located at 17473 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM and 8:50AM. Entry was made through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing. The owner of a neighboring business, Mijin’s Barber Shop located at 17475 Jefferson Davis Hwy, also reported to police that an unknown person(s) made entry into that business by breaking out the front glass door during the same time frame. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was also reported missing from that burglary.
• Commercial Burglary | Attempted Commercial Burglary – On August 16th at 8:30AM, police responded to the Hair Cuttery located at 12421 Hedges Run Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. The business manager reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on August 15th and 8:30AM on August 16th. Entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing. The owner of a neighboring business, the Nail Design & Spa located at 12429 Hedges Run Dr, also reported to police that the front glass door of that business was shattered but still intact. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
• Commercial Burglary – On August 16th at 8:12AM, police responded to the Dairy Queen located at 5061 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. The business owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:15PM on August 15th and 8:00AM on August 16th. Entry was made into the business through the front glass door which had been broken out. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
• Attempted Commercial Burglaries – On August 16th at 7:45AM, police responded to the River Oaks Shopping Center located in the 16600 block of River Heritage Blvd in Dumfries (22026) to investigate multiple attempted burglaries to businesses. The investigation revealed that the front glass doors to three businesses were damaged sometime between 11:00PM on August 15th and 7:20AM on August 16th. The businesses affected were the K Pak Cleaners located at 16677 River Heritage Blvd, the A++ Nails located at 16681 River Heritage Blvd, and the Beauty Dynamix located at 16685 River Heritage Blvd. No entry was gained into any of the business and no property was reported missing.
• Attempted Commercial Burglary – On August 16th at 5:35AM, police responded to The Dry Cleaner located at 12794 Darby Brooke Ct in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. The business owner reported to police that between 10:00PM on August 15th and 5:05AM on August 16th, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the business through the front glass door which had been shattered but still intact. No entry was made and no property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On August 18th at 4:40AM, police responded to the 18100 block of Kilmer Ln in Triangle (22171) for a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that she awoke to find someone shining a flashlight into her window. The homeowner further reported that as she got closer to the window, she observed an arm reach through an open window and grab her iPod, valued around $130, which was sitting on a night stand. The homeowner screamed the unknown person fled. The homeowner was unable to describe the suspect.
Residential Burglary – On August 18th at 1:28AM, police responded to the 13100 block of Amblewood Dr in Manassas (20112) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:00AM on August 9th and 1:28PM on August 18th. Entry was made through a basement window which had been forced open. Jewelry, two TV’s, and other property, total value around $4,800, were reported missing.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On August 17th at 2:10PM, police responded to the 8000 block of Lyon Cl in Manassas (20109) for an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that between 6:00PM and 10:00PM on August 16th, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a living room window which had been damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
