INCIDENT REPORTS
Armed Robbery / Malicious Wounding
On Aug. 18 at 12:51 a.m., police responded to the Taco Bell at 12721 Harbor Dr in Woodbridge for a robbery. The male victim, 58 of Woodbridge, reported to police he was in his vehicle in line at the drive-through when an unknown man approached his driver’s side window, displayed a handgun and demanded money. When the victim refused, the man struck several times in the face with the handgun before he grabbed the victim’s wallet and fled the area on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for nonlife threatening injuries. Police extensively searched the area but did not locate the assailant. Lookout: Black male, between 18 and 25 years, 5’08” 150 lbs., think build, black dreads. Last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, shoes and pants and possibly a dark colored ‘do-rag.

Attempted Strong Armed Robbery
On Aug. 17 at 11:10 p.m., police responded to the Dumfries Shopping Center located at 18029 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries for a robbery. The female victim, 19 of Woodbridge, reported to police she was seated outside of the plaza when two unknown men approached her and took her purse, which was sitting next to her. No injuries were reported. While police were investigating that robbery, a second victim, a 20 year old man of Triangle, reported to police he was walking to his vehicle, around 10:45 p.m., which was parked in the lot, and was approached by four unknown men who demanded the victim empty his pockets. When the victim refused, one of the men struck the victim, knocking him to the ground. The victim was able to pull a pocket knife he was carrying and the men fled on foot. No items were reported missing. Minor injuries were reported. A third victim, an 18 year old man of Stafford, also approached police and reported that he was getting into a vehicle around 10:30 p.m. when he was approached by a group of men who demanded he empty his pockets before striking him in the face. That victim was able to get into the vehicle and leave the area. No items were taken in that incident. Minor injuries were also reported. The following were descriptions obtained from the three victims. Lookout: Three black males between 16 and 22. First male was 5’10 170 lbs., medium build, short black hair. Last seen wearing a red shirt over his face. Second male was 5’10 300 lbs., heavy build, short black hair, clean shaven. Last seen wearing a white shirt. Third male was 6’0” 190 lbs., muscular build, short black hair, clean shaven. Last seen wearing no shirt. Fourth male was 6’2” 160 lbs., thin build, black dreads. Unknown clothing description.

ARRESTS
Narcotics Investigation
On Aug. 17 at 6:47 p.m., police concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of crack cocaine with the execution of a search warrant at 7626 Quail Run Lane in Manassas. As a result of the search warrant, crack cocaine was recovered and the following arrests were made without incident. Arrested: Brian Hampton Watson, 49, of 7626 Quail Run Lane in Manassas. Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II narcotic [cocaine]. Court date unavailable, held without bond. Secret Marie Gaskins, 37, of 9202 Amelia Ct. in Manassas. Charged with possession of a schedule I or II narcotic [cocaine]. Court date unavailable, released on personal recognizance. Orlando Andrell Thompson, 34, of 1238 4th St. in Rensselaer, NY. Charged with providing police with false identification. Court date unavailable, held on a $2,500 secured bond.

CRIMES SOLVERS
Vandalism – School
On Aug. 18 at 3:17 a.m., police responded to Neabsco Elementary School at 3800 Cordell Ave. in Woodbridge for destruction of property. School security reported to police that between 6 a.m. Aug. 17 and 3 a.m. Aug. 18, an unknown person(s) spray painted three storage sheds on the property. The school had been previously targeted on Aug. 13. The vandalism discovered on the 18th was new. Burglary
On Aug. 18 at 1:20 a.m., police responded to the 12600 block of Dulcinea Place in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear patio door that had been forced opened. Electronics and other items valued around $1,000 were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Aug. 17 at 10:33 a.m., police responded to Hammill Mill Park at 1721 Carter Lane in Woodbridge for a burglary. Staff reported to police the burglary occurred between 2 p.m. Aug. 15 and 10 a.m. Aug. 17. Entry appeared to have been made into a storage room door that had been forced opened. Damage was also discovered to a siding window. No items were reported missing. Damage was estimated around $75.

Burglary
On Aug. 16 at 7:43 p.m., police responded to the 11700 block of Smithfield Road in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. Aug. 7 and 7:15 p.m. Aug. 16. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement door that had been forced opened. No items were reported missing. 

Burglary
On Aug. 15 at 9 a.m., police responded to the 11200 block of Chatterly Loop in Manassas for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 9 a.m. Aug. 15. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a window. A TV and computer valued around $3,500 were reported missing.

Burglary
On Aug. 12 at 3:31 p.m., police responded to the 15000 block of Lost Canyon Ct in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a patio sliding glass door that had been forced opened. A TV, laptop and other electronics valued around $2,000 were reported missing. 

Attempted Burglary
On Aug. 15 at 12:21 p.m., police responded to the 8900 block of Moat Crossing Pl in Bristow for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between noon Aug. 10 and noon Aug. 15, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door which showed pried marked near the lock. No entry was made and no items were reported missing.
