When they did not return and after attempts within the neighborhood to locate them, they called the police.  Upon arrival, the officers determined that 3 people resided in the house.  A canvass of the neighborhood was conducted as well as an aerial search by the Fairfax County helicopter.  The Police SCUBA team was called out and recovered 2 bodies close to the dock near the home.

The 9-year old was placed into the care of Child Protective Services until a family member could assume care.  She has a developmental disability that made communicating impossible.  No photos are available at this time.
