Commercial Burglary *ARREST – On July 30, 2012 the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force apprehended the accused who had been sought on active warrants in reference to the burglary of the Aden Grocery Store located at 13717 Aden Rd in Nokesville from July 12, 2012. The accused was located at an address on Cupids Dart Ct in Manassas and arrested without incident. Arrested: Jason Wayne CRITZER, 28, of no fixed address. Charged with burglary, grand larceny, possession of burglarious tools and destruction of property. Court date and bond information unavailable.
Commercial Burglary (Previously Released) – On July 12, 2012 at 6 a.m., police responded to Aden Grocery located at 13717 Aden Rd in Nokesville (20181) for a burglary. Staff reported to police that upon opening the store this morning, it was discovered that the business had been burglarized. After reviewing surveillance footage, the investigation revealed that at around 1:30AM, an unknown man was seen inside the business stealing numerous items. The suspect appeared to have used a crowbar to make entry through the front glass door. Once inside, the suspect took two cash registers, containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and cigarettes. Following an investigation, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit were able to identify the suspect as the accused.
INCIDENTS
Indecent Exposure – On July 31, 2012 at 12:04 a.m., police responded to the 1400 block of G St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a report of indecent exposure. The investigation revealed the victim, a 14-year-old female juvenile, encountered a known acquaintance in the above area. During the encounter, the man allegedly exposed himself. This incident does not appear to be random. The investigation continues.
Residential Burglary – On July 30, 2012 at 2:30 p.m., police responded to the 2600 block of Dyers Mills Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a front door which had been pried open. Miscellaneous items, valued around $330, were reported missing.
