PWC Police Beat 7/30/13

**ARRESTS**

Abduction | Brandishing – On July 28th at 12:13AM, police responded to the 14700 block of Hackwood St in Woodbridge (22191) for a brandishing. The victim, an 18 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was attending a party at a residence in the above area when the accused suspects locked the doors and brandished firearms. The victim further stated that at that point, both accused suspects began to search guests looking for a cell phone which had been taken during the party. Both suspects confronted the victim and pointed their handguns at her. No shots were fired. Eventually, the suspects let the guests go, including the victim. The victim then got into her vehicle and was driving to the police station to report the incident when the accused suspects began to follow her. Officers located all parties near the intersection of Cardinal Dr and Donald Curtis Dr. Following the investigation, the accused suspects were arrested.
Arrested on July 28th:
Brittany Lashae’ CLARK, 26, of 13812 Delaney Rd in Woodbridge

Jonathan HAMM, 19, of 14706 Hackwood Dr in Woodbridge

Both suspects were charged with abduction and brandishing
Court date: August 21, 2013 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond

Narcotics Investigation – On June 20th, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of suspected heroin with the execution of a search warrant at 8651 Burton Parish Ct #201 in Manassas (20110). As a result of the search, heroin, evidence of distribution, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were recovered. The below arrests were also made without incident. These arrests were previously held for investigative purposes.
Arrested on June 20th:
Kenneth GLEATON, 49, of at 8651 Burton Parish Ct #201 in Manassas

Gerald MORMAN, 51, of at 8651 Burton Parish Ct #201 in Manassas

Both suspects were charged with distribution of a scheduled I or II narcotic
Court date: August 23, 2013 | Bond: held WITHOUT bond [at the time of arrest]

**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On July 29th at 6:36PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Wharf Ln in Triangle (22172) for a burglary. Property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:30PM on July 28th and 11:00AM on July 29th. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear which had been forced open. No property was reported missing.
