Eisenhower Burglaries
On May 31, police developed a lead into the burglary investigation on Eisenhower Cir. On June 1, police followed up on leads and canvassed the area which lead to the identities the below listed accused who have been charged in connection to the below listed burglaries. Investigation continues.
Arrested: Marcus Dequann McClurkin, 19, of 1451 Ranger Loop #104 in Woodbridge. Charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of grand larceny and two counts of intent to sell stolen property. Travis Jamal Caison, 19, of 13673 Hornet Way #310 in Woodbridge. Charged with one count of burglary, one count of grand larceny and one count of intent to sell stolen property. Court date for both set for June 29, 2011, both held without bond.
Burglary (previously released)
On May 26 at 4:12 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured bedroom window. An iPod and camera valued around $450 were reported missing.
Burglary (previously released)
On May 20 at 4:27 p.m., police responded to the 1300 block of Eisenhower Circle in Woodbridge for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police the burglary occurred between 11:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through the front door. A telescope valued around $200 was reported missing.
CRIME SOLVERS CASE
Home Invasion / Abduction
On June 2 at 9:09 p.m., police responded to the 14600 block of Endsley Turn in Woodbridge for a home invasion. The male victim, 24, reported to police two unknown masked men entered the residence by forcing open a door while a third man remained outside. Once inside, the two men, with one displaying a handgun, forced the man and four children, between the ages of 4 weeks and 11 years, into an upstairs bedroom while they searched the house looking for a man who reportedly did not live there. Once the house was searched, all three men fled the area. One or two of the men left the area in vehicle while the other fled on foot. No injuries were reported. A cell phone was reported missing. Lookout: Three black males— first male was reported to be average height, thin build and had brown eyes, long dread locks. Last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans, black belt and wearing a ‘scream’ style mask – was in possession of the handgun. Second male was reported to be shorter, heavy build and had short hair. Last seen wearing all black and a ski-style mask that covered his face and head. Third male was reported to be heavy set – no further description. Last seen wearing all black clothing and a black baseball style hat with red lining Vehicle Lookout: Newer silver four-door full sized sedan.
