INCIDENTS

Construction Site Accident/Fatality – On June 25, 2012 at 8:05 a.m., police responded to the area of Hope Hill Crossing in Woodbridge (22193) for a construction site accident.  The investigation revealed the victim, a 54-year-old man of Locust Dale, was struck by a tree he was sawing while working on the site.  The victim struck his head when he fell to the ground and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Identified: Larry R. NICHOLSON, 54, of 2000 block of Meander Run Rd in Locust Dale.

Armed Robbery/Malicious Wounding – On June 24, 2012 at 3:56 p.m., police responded to the area of Fincastle Dr and Toddsbury Ln in Manassas (20112) for a Robbery.  The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, reported to police that he was in the above area when he bumped into the three unknown men. During the encounter, the men attacked the victim hitting him multiple times in the face with an unknown instrument. The men took the victim’s wallet prior to fleeing the area on foot. The victim was treated on scene for non life threatening injuries. Lookout: Black male, between 17 & 18 years of age, 6’0”/180 lbs, black crew cut style hair, brown eyes, thin build and last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans; white male, between 17 & 18 years of age, 5’11”/180lbs, black crew cut style hair, thin build and last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans; and White male, between 17 & 18 years of age, 5’10”/180lbs, brown crew cut style hair, thin build and last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans.

Robbery/Assault & Battery – On June 24, 2012 at 4:06 p.m. police responded to the Seven Eleven convenience store located at 13304 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery.  An employee, a 43-year-old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was approached by an unknown man while working behind the counter.  The man hit the employee and attempted to take cash from the register.  The man was unsuccessful in his attempt to obtain cash and fled on foot prior to police arrival.  Minor injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, between 30 & 40 years of age, black afro style hair, heavy build. Last seen wearing a light colored jacket and dark colored pants.

Armed Robbery – On June 23, 2012 at 11:24 p.m., police responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a robbery.  The victims, a 37-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both of Woodbridge, reported to police they were in the above area when they were approached by an unknown man.  The man displayed a handgun and fired a shot into the ground. The man took an undisclosed amount of US Currency from both victims prior to fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, between 30 & 31 years of age, 6’3”, black hair, thin build. Last seen wearing a white bandana covering his face, a white shirt and jeans.

Armed Robbery – On June 23, 2012 at 11:23 p.m., police responded to the Safeway located at 4215 Cheshire Station Plaza in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery.  An employee, a 19-year-old female of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was approached by an unknown man who displayed a handgun. The man took an undisclosed amount of US Currency and fled on foot prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, between 22 & 28 years of age, 5’09”/160lbs, thin build. Last seen wearing a black polo shirt, a red baseball cap, dark colored pants and black sunglasses.

Burglary – On June 23, 2012 at 6:19 p.m. police responded the 3100 block of Burbank Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary to a residence under construction.  Investigation revealed that the burglary occurred between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Entry is believed to have been made through the front door.  Two air conditioning units and miscellaneous construction items, valued at $2900, were reported as missing.

Burglary – On June 24, 2012 at 4:32 p.m., police responded to the 13300 block of Packard Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between noon on June 9, 2012 and 2 p.m. on June 24, 2012.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Entry is believed to have been made through the front door.  Two handguns, valued at $650, were reported as missing.

Burglary – On June 23, 2012 at 4:48 p.m. police responded to the 3400 block of Tuckahoe Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary to a vacant residence.  The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred between 7:46 p.m. on June 11, 2012 and 12:22 p.m. on June 20. Entry appeared to have been made through a window which had been broken out.  No items were reported as missing.

Burglary – On June 22, 2012 at 1:53 p.m., police responded to the 13200 block of Triple Crown Lp in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary.  The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10:30 a.m. on June 21 and 11:30 a.m. on June 21.  There were no signs of forced entry.  Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured sliding glass door.  A purse and miscellaneous items, valued at $350, were reported as missing.

Motocycle Crash/Flyout– On June 23, 2012 at 10:04 a.m., police responded to the area of Joplin Rd and the off ramp from I-95 northbound in Triangle (22172) for a crash. The investigation revealed the driver of the motorcycle lost control while traveling eastbound on Joplin Rd at the off ramp of I-95 northbound. The driver was flown to an area hospital where she was treated for non life threatening injuries. This was a single vehicle crash. Identified: The driver of the 2004 Honda Shadow was identified as a 46-year-old woman of Warrenton.

ARRESTS

Contributing to the delinquency of a minor – On June 24, 2012 at 1:57 a..m., police responded to the 1400 block of California St in Woodbridge (22191) for a noise complaint.  An investigation revealed, the victim, a 15-year-old female juvenile, was provided alcohol at a party given at the residence of the accused, a known acquaintance.  The accused was arrested without incident.  Arrested: Elias Mariscal TEJEDA, 24, of 1409 California St in Woodbridge. Charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Court date unavailable, released on summons,

Rape/Burglary – On June 23, 2012 at 5:43 a.m., detectives from the Special Victims Bureau responded to investigate a rape which was reported to have occurred in the 3300 block of Bronson Ct in Woodbridge (22192).  The investigation revealed that the victim, a 30-year-old female of Woodbridge was sexually assaulted by the accused, a known acquaintance, when he entered the residence through a secured front door. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.  The victim was treated at an area hospital for non life threatening injuries.  Arrested: Ramon Lee GLADDEN, 32, of 49 Bloomington Ln in Stafford. Charged with rape, sodomy, object sexual penetration and burglary. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.
