**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On June 21st at 3:48AM, police responded to the 14000 block of Baneberry Cir on Manassas (20112) for a robbery. The victim, a 54 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he had just parked his vehicle in the above area when he was approached by two unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before getting into a vehicle and fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
2 black males, both reported to be between 23 & 25 years of age—
1st male was between 5’5”-5’8” with a thin build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark colored jeans
2nd male [armed suspect] was between 5’5”-5’8” with a thin build and black curly hair
Last seen wearing dark colored jeans – no further description
Vehicle Description:
A green, early 2000’s model, 4-door sedan – possibly a Ford, Crown Victoria
Attempted Armed Robbery – On June 21st at 3:30AM, police responded to the CVS located at 13600 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted robbery. An employee reported to police that an unknown, masked man entered the business and approached the pharmacy counter. The man displayed a handgun and demanded pain medication. The employee immediately fled the business through a rear door which triggered an alarm. The man fled the store without taking anything. No injuries were reported.
Suspect Description:
Black male, between 21 & 35 years of age, 5’10”, 165lbs with a medium build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask, dark green pants, black & red shoes, and gray gloves
**ARRESTS**
Strong Armed Robbery – On June 12th at 9:13AM, police responded to investigate a robbery which was reported to have occurred in the area of American Elm Ct and Yew Grove Pl in Dumfries (22026) on June 11th around 11:00PM. The victim, a 22 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when he was approached by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle stopped near the victim, at which point, three male occupants got out and confronted him. The victim attempted to run away but the men caught up to him. A fourth male occupant exited the vehicle and knocked the victim to the ground. Once on the ground, the four men assaulted the victim and took two cell phones and a wallet containing an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing the area. A fifth suspect remained in the driver’s seat of the vehicle during the assault and robbery. Minor injuries were reported. Over the course of the investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify one of the men, identified as the accused, involved in the robbery. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested. The investigation continues.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On June 19th at 9:24PM, a Prince William County police officer conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Minnieville Rd and Elm Farm Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a defective equipment violation. During the stop, the driver, identified as the accused, began to act erratically. At one point, the accused laid across the passenger seat of the vehicle and began kicking towards the officer, striking him to the hand. The accused was eventually arrested. No injuries were reported.

Charged with assault & battery on LEO and obstruction of justice
