PWC Police Beat 5/3/13

**INCIDENTS**

Commercial Burglary – On May 2nd at 11:00PM, police responded to the Jiffy Lube located at 17440 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) for an alarm. Officers arrived at the business and discovered the front glass door was shattered. Police checked the business, no suspects were located. A police K-9 was used to search for the suspect(s). No property was reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On May 2nd at 10:16PM, police responded to the 14300 block of Bismark Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 12:45PM and 9:00PM, an unknown person(s) attempted to enter the residence front door which had been damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no property was reported missing.

**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Sexual Battery | Indecent Liberties – On May 2nd at 9:58PM, police responded to the 4600 block of Evansdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. Officers arrived at the residence and determined that a sexual assault had occurred between the victim, a 13 year old female, and the accused, a family member. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

James Kadaso Burga KEATON, 32, of 3785 Rosboro Ct in Orlando, FL
Charged with 2 counts of aggravated sexual battery and 2 count of taking indecent liberties with a child
Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond

Residential Burglary – On May 2nd at 10:24PM, police responded to the 14700 block of Barksdale St in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was in her kitchen when she heard the front door to the residence open. The homeowner then discovered that the accused, her neighbor, was inside her residence and appeared intoxicated. The homeowner and a male acquaintance were able to get the accused to leave the residence. Officers arrived and located the accused who was subsequently arrested.
