INCIDENTS
Attempted Strong Armed Robbery
– On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 5 p.m., police responded to investigate an attempted robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 14800 block of Harvest Moon Ln in Woodbridge (22193) on Friday, May 11, 2012 around 3 p.m. The victim, a 12-year-old male of Dumfries, reported to police that on that day he was followed home by 2 unknown teenaged males after getting off the school bus. The males approached the victim near the area above where one of males pushed him to the ground. Once on the ground the second male assaulted the victim by kicking him in the chest and legs. The first male then attempted to remove the victim’s fleece jacket but was not able to. The victim was able to get back to his residence and away from the assailants. On Monday, May 14,  the victim reported seeing the two teenage males again near his bus stop at Harvest Moon Ln and Moonbeam Dr. The males, again, followed the victim but no assault took place. The victim reported minor injuries were reported from the first encounter. Lookout: 2 white males, both reported to be between 13 & 15 years of age. 1st male was 5’10” / 100lbs, thin build with collar length blonde hair. Last seen wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans. 2nd male was 5’08” / 100lbs, medium build with blonde hair. Last seen wearing a blue tank top and black jeans.

Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 6:22 p.m., police responded to the Hiram Ct in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1:45 and 6:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear window. A laptop, gaming console, GPS and other items, valued around $1,400, were reported missing.

Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 4:53 p.m., police responded to the 15200 block of Crescent St in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between an unknown time on April 1, 2012 and 4:53 p.m. on May 15, 2012. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A gaming console, lawnmower and TV, valued around $700, were reported missing.

Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 3:32 p.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Oak St in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between midnight and 3:15 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. No items of significance were reported missing.

Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 8:24 a.m., police responded to the 4500 block of Logmill Rd in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2 p.m. on May 14, 2012 and 6 p.m. on May 15. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured side door. Tools and other items, valued around $2,000, were reported missing.

Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 7:53 a.m., police responded to the 4300 block of Stone Mountain Ct in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 1 and 7 a.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured rear door. A gaming console, TV, 2 laptops and other items, valued around $6,000, were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 7:20 p.m., police responded to the 2900 block of Wren Ct in Woodbridge (22191) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 6:30 a.m. and 6:55 p.m. an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear door. No entry was gained into the residence and no items were reported missing.
