PWC Police Beat 4/20/12

INCIDENTS

Burglary – On April 18, 2012 at 2:41 p.m., police responded to the 4500 bock of Hendricks Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM and 2:41PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Jewelry and medication, valued around $950, were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On April 19, 2012 at 11:52 p.m., police responded to the 10400 block of Stonington Ln in Manassas (20110) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 11:20 and 11:35 p.m, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through the front door which had been damaged. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On April 17, 2012 at 1:25 p.m., police responded to the 14300 block of Belleville Ave in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 8 a.m. on April 16, 2012 and 1:25 p.m. on April 17, 2012, an unknown person(s) attempted entry through two windows by removing the screens and attempting to push the windows open. Due to safety locks, the windows could not be opened fully thereby preventing entry into the residence. No items were reported missing.
