**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery / Malicious Wounding – On April 14, 2012 at 12:01 a.m., police responded to the 12000 block of Coverstone Hill Cir in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The investigation revealed that the two males victims, ages 20 and 27 – both of Manassas, were at a residence in the above area where they were assaulted by two unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded the victims’ property. The men took an undisclosed amounts of U.S. Currency from the victims before the victims were able to get away. The victims sustained minor injuries and were treated at an area hospital. This incident is not a random act, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, police spokesman. The investigation is continuing, he noted.
Burglary – On April 15, 2012 at 7:15 p.m., police responded to the 14000 block of Sterling Point Dr in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 3 and 5 p.m.. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached garage. A bicycle, valued around $150, was reported missing.
Burglary – On April 14, 2012 at 5:45 p.m., police responded to the 11900 block of Cotton Mill Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 10 p.m. on April 13, 2012 and 9 a.m. on April 14, 2012. Entry appeared to have been made into an attached garage through an open door. Tools, computer equipment and other items, valued around $7,000 were reported missing.
Burglary – On April 14, 2012 at 5:34 p.m., police responded to the 14000 block of Kramer Pl in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 and 10:30 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an open basement window. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Burglary – On April 13, 2012 at 4:33 p.m, police responded to the 5600 block of Northton Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 11 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through a dog door. A gaming console and related games, a handgun and other items, valued around $1,000, were reported missing.
Burglary – On April 12, 2012 at 9:58 p.m., police responded to the 11800 block of Critton Cir in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured window. A laptop and other items, valued around $500, were reported missing.
Attempted Burglary – On April 14, 2012 at 10:42 p.m., police responded to the 16900 block of Dovetail Ct in Dumfries (22026) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 7 p.m. on April 4, 2012 and 10:42 p.m. on April 14, 2012, an unknown person(s) attempted entry
into the residence through the front door by forcing it open. No entry was gained and no items were reported missing.
