PWC Police Beat 3/1/12

INCIDENTS

Armed Robbery – On March 1, 2012 at 1:11 a.m. police responded to the 1500 block of Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. The victim, a 20-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking to his vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by a unknown man. The man assaulted the victim, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victim before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Lookout: Black male, unknown age, 5’09” / 185lbs, medium build with brown eyes. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt dark pants and a mask

Burglary – On Feb. 29, 2012 at 6:15 p.m., police responded to the 15300 block of Gatehouse Tr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a sliding glass door which had been broken out. Three laptops, jewelry, a gaming console and other items, valued around $7,000, were reported missing. 

Burglary – On Feb. 29, 2012 at 3 p.m., police responded to the 7600 block of Somerset Ln in Manassas (20111) for burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:20 a.m. and 3 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence, however, a locked interior door had been forced opened.  No items were reported missing.
