ARRESTS
Aggravated Sexual Battery / Forcible Sodomy
– On March 14, 2012, detectives from the Special Victims Bureau, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, concluded an investigation into a series of sexual assaults which were initially reported to police in August 2010. The investigation revealed that the victim, now a 27-year-old man of Fredericksburg, had been sexually assaulted on numerous occasions from 1996-2001, when the victim was between 12 and 16 years of age, by the accused, a known acquaintance.

At the time of the assaults, the victim resided in different locations in the Woodbridge and Dumfries areas of Prince William County. The assaults would take place at the residence of the accused, which also changed multiple times during this time period. The accused resided in the 3200 block of John Robinson Ln in Dumfries, the 2900 block of Fox Lair Dr in Woodbridge and his current address listed below.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives obtained the warrants in this case on March 13, 2012 which were then served on the accused on today’s date, March 14, 2012, at the Rappahannock Regional Jail where the accused is currently serving a sentence on unrelated charges. Arrested was Joseph RUHREN, 41, of 3231 Riverview Dr in Triangle. Charged with 12 counts of forcible sodomy, 4 counts of indecent liberties, 4 counts of
carnal knowledge, 2 counts of crimes against nature and 1 count of aggravated sexual battery. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.

Narcotics Investigation – On March 13, 2012, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 5084 Two Chimneys Ct in Woodbridge (22193). During the search, marijuana, packaging material, an undisclosed of U.S. Currency and 3 firearms were seized. The following arrests were also made without incident. The four persons arrested were:

•Wayne Keith HENSON, 28, of 5084 Two Chimneys Ct in Woodbridge. Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and transporting marijuana into the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Cassandra Kimberly BROWN, 22, of 5084 Two Chimneys Ct in Woodbridge. Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

• James Austin MILLER, 26, of 816 Westover Ave in Norfolk. Charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana.

• Daniel Duk-Hoon MOH, 30, of 14059 Vernon Ln #1527 in Centreville. Charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute marijuana.

Court date and bond information for all unavailable.

INCIDENTS

Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 9:30 p.m., police responded to the 9400 block of Lafayette Ave in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9 p.m. on March 12, 2012 and 4: a.m. on March 13, 2012. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. A jacket containing a wallet, valued around $10, was reported missing.

Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 7 p.m., police responded to the 12000 block of Wright Ln in Bristow (20136) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:45 a.m. and 6:20 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement level window which had been broken out. Jewelry, valued around $900, was reported missing.

Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 6:58 p.m., police responded to the 7500 block of Outback Ct in Manassas (20112) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.. Entry appeared to have been made through a side window which had been broken out. Jewelry, valued around $5,000, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.

Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 4:44 p.m., police responded to the 4400 block of Lynn Forest Dr in Gainesville (20155) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. Entry appeared to have been made through a side window which had been broken out. Jewelry and electronics, valued around $11,000, were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 11:11 p.m., police responded to the 13300 block of Packard Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 10 and 10:15 p.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence. Homeowner was in his residence when he heard a loud crash. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner discovered a rear window had been broken out. Shortly before the crash, the homeowner reported hearing someone ring his doorbell several times. No one was ever seen and no entry is believed to have been gained. No items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On March 13 at 6 p.m., police responded to the 7700 block of Silo Mill Ct in Manassas (20111) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that sometime between 6 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence by forcing open a rear door. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing.

Attempted Burglary – On March 13, 2012 at 1:09 p.m., police responded to the 4700 block of Fishermans Cove in Dumfries (22025) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that he was in the basement level of the residence when his dog began barking. The homeowner then stated he heard, what sounded like, someone turning the knob on the basement door. Upon investigating the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man walking away from the rear of the residence. No entry was made into the residence and no items were reported missing. No description of the suspect was provided to police.
