Armed Bank Robbery *SURVEILLANCE VIDEO – Click on the link below to be transferred to the Prince William County Police YouTube page for the surveillance footage of the armed robbery reported at the 7-11 located at 14797Darbydale Ave in Woodbridge on Feb. 4, 2012. Armed Robbery (Previously Released) – On Feb. 4, 2012 at 4:22 a.m., police responded to the 7-11 located at 14797Darbydale Ave in Dale City (Woodbridge 22193) for a robbery. Clerk reported to police that three unknown men entered the store where one of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and damaged an interior cooler before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported. Lookout was posted for 3 black males, all reported to be between 18 & 22 years of age.
•First male was around 5’10” [suspect with the handgun]. Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, blue jeans and a ski style mask.
•Second male was around 5’10” Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ski style mask.
•Third male was around 6’02” Last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ski style mask.

ARRESTS

Malicious Wounding – On March 11, 2012 at 10:52 p.m., police responded to the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln in Woodbridge (22191) for a domestic. The victim, a 37-year-old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly struck the victim in the face. The victim was able to get to a separate room, lock the door and contact police. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The accused was taken into custody at the residence without incident. Arrested: (Juvenile) A 16-year-old male of Woodbridge who has been charged with malicious wounding. Court date unavailable, held at a Juvenile Detention Facility.

Malicious Wounding – On March 10, 2012 at 2:57 a.m., police responded to the area of Luca Station Way and Old Bridge Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault. The victim, a 21-year-old woman of Ashburn, reported to police that she was at a residence in the above area when she and the accused became involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically. Following the encounter, the accused was leaving the residence in a vehicle when the victim attempted to stop her by jumping on the hood of the vehicle. The accused still drove the vehicle and, at one point, slammed on her brakes–causing the victim to be violently thrown to the ground. Police arrived and took the accused into custody. The accused was determined to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. The victim was transported to an area hospital with severe, but non-life-threatening, head trauma. Arrested was Amber Paige TODD, 24, of 9509 4th Pl in Lorton and charged with malicious wounding and driving while intoxicated. Court date set for May 01, 2012, held WITHOUT bond.

Malicious Wounding – On March 8, 2012 at 9:54 p.m., police responded to the 7400 block of Rokeby Rd in Manassas (20109) for an assault. The victim, a 23-year-old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly assaulted the victim by kicking her several times in the stomach and back. The victim informed responding officers that she was pregnant and experiencing severe pain. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The accused was located at the residence and arrested. Arrested was Andy Rene ARAUJO, 23, of the 7400 block of Rokeby Rd in Manassas. He was charged with malicious wounding, domestic assault and battery and resisting arrest. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.

Assault by Mob – On March 10, 2012 at 10:13 p.m., police responded to the 1400 block of Colchester Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for an assault. The victim, a 21-year-old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he and the below listed accused, all known acquaintances, were in the area above when a verbal altercation ensued and escalated, turning physical. During the encounter, the victim was struck in the face causing a broken nose. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The four assailants were located later in the evening and charged. Arrested were Dorothy Jean BISCHOFF, 20, of 3728 Stonewall Manor Dr in Triangle; Michael Paul BATTISTA, 24, of 3728 Stonewall Manor Dr in Triangle; Brian Christopher RICHARDSON, 20, of 1522 Florida Ave in Woodbridge; and Robert Samuel ANGLIN, 19, of 1310 Columbia Rd in Woodbridge. All were charged with assault by mob. Court date for all is set for May 01, 2012. All were released on summonses to appear in court.

Assault / Brandishing – On March 9, 2012 at 2:41 p.m., police responded to the 14500 block of Potomac Mills Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault. The victim, a 19-year-old woman of Fredericksburg, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation while both were traveling in a vehicle. During the encounter, the accused stopped the vehicle in a parking lot in the area above. Once there, the accused brandished a handgun and attempted to push the victim out of the car. Minor injuries were reported. The accused remained at the scene and was arrested without further incident. Arrested: Antron Gerrell KELLY, 21, of 1904 Mariner Ln in Woodbridge who was charged with assault and brandishing a firearm. Court date unavailable, released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.

Grand Larceny / Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon – On March 9, 2012 at 4:59 p.m., police responded to the Tackett’s Mill Car Wash located at 12831 Harbor Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a larceny of a firearm. The caller reported to police that he had picked up his vehicle from the business after getting it detailed. As the caller was driving away, he discovered his handgun was missing from the center console and returned to the business and contacted police. The investigation revealed that the accused, an employee of the car wash, had removed the gun from the customer’s vehicle and hid the firearm in a trash can in the bathroom of the business. The accused was subsequently arrested.  Arrested: Joseph Derek ALLISON, 20, of 12937 Freestone Ct in Woodbridge who was charged with grand larceny of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Court date set for April 11, 2012, held WITHOUT bond.

INCIDENTS

Malicious Wounding – On March 9, 2012 at 9:38 p.m., police responded to the 14400 block of Lamar Rd in Woodbridge (22191) for a stabbing. The victim, a 17-year-old male of Lorton, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated physically.

During the encounter, the accused allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and came towards the victim. The victim fled from the residence and attempted to run down the street. The accused caught up to the victim and attempted to stab the victim causing him fall to the ground. Once on the ground the accused attempted to repeatedly stab the victim again. The accused was only able to stab the victim once to his arm before the victim was able to get away and contact police. The stab wound was minor and the victim was treated at the scene. After the stabbing incident, the accused then, reportedly, returned to the residence and became involved in a verbal altercation which the remaining occupants of the residence. During that encounter, the accused allegedly threw a brick at a vehicle belonging to another occupant of the residence as they were attempting to leave. The brick caused about $500 in damage. A perimeter was established and a police K-9 was utilized in an attempt to locate the accused. The accused remains wanted on active warrants. Wanted: Nathaniel Bernard HINES, 22, of 14425 Lamar Rd in Woodbridge. He is described as a black male, 5’09” / 120lbs, thin build with black hair and brown eyes. Wanted for malicious wounding, throwing missiles [brick] at an occupied vehicle and destruction of property.

Burglary with Intent to Commit Assault – On March 11, 2012 at 3:15 a.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Gableridge Tn in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that there was a party at the location and that during the party, a group of three males were asked to leave. A short time later, the three males returned to the residence.

At this point, one of the males climbed onto the balcony area and kicked in the balcony door while the other males kicked open the front door. Once inside, the males attempted to fight the remaining occupants. One of the occupants was able to strike on of the assailants with a bottle causing all suspects to flee. No injuries were reported and no items were reported missing. The occupants of the residence were only able to describe the intruders as being two black males and one Hispanic male.

Armed Robbery – On March 10, 2012 at 9:32 p.m., police responded to Jerry’s Subs located at 12531 Dillingham Sq in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search but the suspect was not located. Lookout: Black male, unknown age, 6’0” / 180lbs, thin build who was last seen wearing a gray hat, navy blue jacket and navy blue pants.

Burglary – On March 10, 2012 at 10:44 a.m., police responded to the 15300 block of Edgehill Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between noon on Feb. 25, 2012 and 5 p.m. on March 9, 2012. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an attached garage. A bicycle, valued around $300, was reported missing. 

Attempted Burglary – On March 9, 2012 at 8:13 , police responded to the 2000 block of Darlington Lp in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he heard a rear door shut. The homeowner looked out of his window and observed an unknown man standing on his deck. When the homeowner went to confront the man, he was gone. No entry is believed to have been gained and there were no signs of forced entry into the residence. No items were reported missing.
