ARRESTS
Attempted Rape / Sexual Battery – On Feb. 1, 2012 at 7:03 p.m. police responded to the 8000 block of Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a sexual assault. The victim, a 19-year-old of Manassas, reported to police that she was walking in the area above when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The accused sexually assaulted the victim, which in turn, led to a physical altercation. After a brief struggle, the accused fled the area on foot. On Feb. 2, 2012, detectives, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshal’s, identified the man as the accused and were able to locate and arrest him without incident. The victim sustained minor injuries. Arrested: Javon Rustin PAIGE, 24, of 8152 Claremont St in Manassas. Charged with attempted rape, sexual battery and solicitation. Court date unavailable, held WITHOUT bond.
Narcotics Investigation – On Feb. 2, 2012 detectives concluded a narcotics investigation into the distribution of marijuana with the execution of two search warrants. During the investigation it was learned that the accused had been selling marijuana in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County. As a result of the first search at 11804 Alexander Hays Rd in Bristow (20136), 2 handguns, a shotgun, marijuana and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were seized. The second search of an acquaintance residence at 3521 Covered Bridge Ln in Woodbridge (22192), over 5lbs of marijuana, packaging material and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were seized. The accused was arrested without incident. Arrested: George Joseph HENRY, 34, of 11804 Alexander Hays Rd in Bristow. Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana over 5lbs and distributing marijuana.Court date set for March 16, 2012, held WITHOUT bond.
Narcotics Investigation – On Dec. 15, 2011 police stopped a suspicious person, later identified as the accused, in the area of Balls Ford Rd and Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109). During the course of the investigation, police discovered that the accused had in excess of 200 Roxicodone pills which had been prescribed to another family member and was selling them for cash. The accused was arrested without incident. This arrest had previously been held for investigative purposes. Arrested: (Dec. 15, 2011) Ronald Regan SHEETZ, 56, of 8200 Frog Hollow Ct in Manassas. Charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I or II
narcotic [Roxicodone]. Court date and bond information unavailable.
INCIDENTS
Armed Robbery / Grand Larceny Auto – On Feb. 3, 2012 at 1:46 a.m., police responded to the 15100 block of Stepping Stone Dr in Haymarket (20169) for a robbery. The victim, a 29-year-old man of Haymarket, reported to police that he had just gotten out of his vehicle when he was approached by two unknown masked men. One of the men, believed to have been armed, demanded the victim’s keys to his vehicle and money. Once the men had property, one of the men assaulted the victim. Minor injuries were reported. The victim was unable to describe the men due to the masks but did note that both were around 6’03” tall. Stolen Vehicle: 2004, green Ford Ranger pickup truck, VA-Tag: KCM-9144.
Burglary – On Feb. 1, 2012 at 5:40 p.m. police responded to the 11000 block of Hiram Ct in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked window. A laptop, cell phone and a gaming console, valued around $2,000, in addition to, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were reported missing.
