**ARRESTS**
Hit & Run | Filing a False Police Report – On February 25th at 5:59PM, police responded to investigate a hit and run which was reported to have occurred in the area of Minnieville Rd and Spriggs Rd in Woodbridge (22193) on February 23rd. The victim, a 46 year old woman of Triangle, reported to police that she was struck by a vehicle while making a left hand turn from Minnieville Rd onto Spriggs Rd. After pulling over to exchange information, the victim observed the striking vehicle flee the area. A witness to the crash provided a description of the striking vehicle. Officers made contact with the vehicle owner, the accused, who informed police that she was struck and that the other driver fled the area. It was eventually determined that the accused had lied to officers and was subsequently arrested.

Charged with hit & run and filing a false police report
Court date unavailable, released on a $5,000 unsecured bond
**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery | Malicious Wounding – On February 25th at 8:40PM, police responded to the 3400 block of Belfry Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a stabbing. The victim, a 30 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was walking in the area above when he was approached by two unknown, masked men. The men asked the victim for money which the victim complied. One of the suspects then stabbed the victim in the back before both men fled on foot. The victim made his way to a residence where police were contacted. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the men. The victim was flown to an area hospital as a precaution with non-life threatening injuries. The victim did not know the assailants.

Armed Robbery – On February 25th at 11:01PM, police responded to the MVC located at 17505 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown, masked man entered the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency before fleeing the store on foot. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the man. No injuries were reported.

A black male, between 30 & 40 years of age, 6’0”, 200lbs, medium build
Last seen wearing a “puffy” black jacket, jeans, black boots, black & yellow gloves, and a black mask
