Burglary while Armed | Malicious Wounding *ADDITIONAL CHARGES – On February 21st, detectives from the Robbery Unit placed additional charges against the 3 men responsible for the robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 12900 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge on February 16th.
Arrested on February 21st: 
Roderick Sean BOLDEN, 24, of 1380 E. Longview Dr #7 in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding

Markus Terell GARDNER, 24, of 13109 Haddock Rd in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding and using a firearm in commission of a felony

Jotham Ceboduro PHILLIPS, 23, of 14508 Piccolo Ln in Woodbridge
Charged with malicious wounding, using a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon

Court date unavailable, all were held WITHOUT bond

Burglary while Armed | Malicious Wounding (Previously Released) – On February 16th at 1:40AM, police responded to the 12900 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault stemming from a burglary. The victim, a 56 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was sleeping in his residence when 2 unknown men entered through an unlocked door and demanded money. During the encounter, the men bound the victim with zip-ties and struck him with an unknown blunt object. The men then fled the area in a vehicle. No property was taken. The victim was able to get lose from the restraints and contact police. Responding officers located the vehicle, unoccupied, in the area of Minnieville Rd and Old Bridge Rd after appearing to have crashed into a pole. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspects. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau were able to identify the 2 suspects involved in this incident, GARDNER and PHILLIPS, and determine that a 3rd male, BOLDEN, was also involved. Members of the Bike Team were able to locate and arrest all 3 men without incident. This incident does not appear to be random.

Armed Robbery | Carjacking *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On February 20th, detectives identified and arrested the 3rd suspect involved in the armed robbery which was reported to have occurred in the 4000 block of Graham Park Rd in Dumfries on February 18th. The accused was apprehended following a traffic stop at Dumfries Rd and Purcell Rd.

Armed Robbery | Carjacking (Previously Released) – On February 18th at 11:20PM, police responded to the 4000 block of Graham Park Rd in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. The victim, a 36 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was making a deposit at the Bank of America in the above area when 3 unknown men approached him. One of the men had a knife and demanded money from the victim. The men assaulted the victim and threw him to the ground before taking the victim’s vehicle and fleeing the area. Minor injuries were reported. An officer spotted the vehicle as the driver ran a red light at the intersection of Dale Blvd and Ashdale Ave. The vehicle continued to the area of Arbor Ct where the occupants fled on foot. A police K-9 was utilized in the search and was able to locate two of the suspects. Following the investigation, the suspects, both juveniles, were arrested.

Commercial Burglary *ARREST – On February 20th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit identified the suspect involved in the burglary which was reported to have occurred at the Target located at 2460 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge on February 9th. Information was received that the accused, a juvenile, was in the area of Minnieville Rd and Omisol Rd. As detectives responded to the area, the accused was spotted and immediately fled on foot. Detectives and patrol officers were able to detain the accused following a short pursuit.

Commercial Burglary (Previously Released) – On February 9th at 3:29AM, police responded to the Target located at 2460 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) for an alarm. Officers arrived and discovered a rear emergency door was ajar. After reviewing surveillance footage, it is believed the suspect hid in the store prior to closing. The suspect is seen using tools from the store to break into locked cabinets. The suspect took multiple iPads and other property, valued around $10,000, before fleeing the store through the emergency exit which triggered the alarm.

**ARRESTS**

Murder Investigation – On February 20th at 9:40PM, police responded to the 3700 block of Wertz Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a call of shots fired. Witnesses reported seeing a man fleeing the area on foot who was believed to be the shooter. A description of the shooter was given to responding units that arrived in the area quickly. Off duty Prince William County Police Lieutenant Carlos Robles was in the area and encountered the man on Cardinal Dr. Lieutenant Robles was able to detain the man following a brief struggle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that the victim was walking his dog in the area above when he was approached by an unknown man, identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused shot the victim and took property belonging to the victim before fleeing the area. The accused was found to have some personal property belonging to the victim on his person at the time of the arrest. The gun used in this incident had also been reported stolen on February 15th from a vehicle in Montclair. The victim and the accused are not believed to have known one another. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested.

Charged with first degree murder, armed robbery, and using a firearm in commission of a felony

The victim has been identified as a Gregory Lee HOLLEY Sr., 55, of Woodbridge

Hit & Run Multiple Vehicle Crash – On February 20th at 8:00PM, police responded to the area of Dale Blvd and Cloverdale Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a multi-vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of a 1989 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Dale Blvd at a high rate of speed when the vehicle struck a 2005 GMC Yukon from behind. This collision caused a rear end chain reaction with a 1998 Jeep Cherokee, a 1996 Honda Civic, and a 2003 Honda Accord. The driver of the Toyota fled the scene shortly after the crash. The vehicles were originally stopped at the intersection because of a red traffic light. After the collision the drivers of the Accord and Civic exited their vehicles to check on the occupants of the other vehicles. At that point, the driver of a 2000 Dodge Caravan was traveling eastbound, approaching the crash, and had to make an evasive maneuver to avoid colliding with the vehicles involved in the original crash. In the process, the Caravan struck the drivers of the Accord and Civic. The drivers of the Accord and Civic, in addition to, a passenger from the 1989 Toyota Camry (injury sustained in original crash) were flown to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the GMC Yukon was ground transported to an area hospital also for non-life threatening injuries. Investigators were able to identify the driver of the Toyota who fled the scene. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained. On February 21st, the accused turned himself into police without incident.

The driver of the 1998 Jeep Cherokee was identified as a 56 year old man of Woodbridge

The driver of the 1996 Honda Civic was identified as a 20 year old woman of Woodbridge

The driver of the 2003 Honda Accord was identified as a 25 year old man of Woodbridge

The driver of the 2000 Dodge Caravan was identified as a 43 year old man of Woodbridge

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On February 20th at 4:43PM, police responded to the 5000 block of Lynwood Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for an assault. The victim, a 14 year old male of Woodbridge, reported to police that the day prior, he and the accused, a family member, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused struck the victim and, at one point, knocked him to the ground. Once on the ground, the accused began to choke the victim. Police were notified of the incident after a teacher observed marks on the victim. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 21st at 1:34AM, police stopped a vehicle in the area of Old Bridge Rd and Troupe St in Woodbridge (22192). The driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence. During the arrest, a passenger, identified as the accused, became disorderly towards officers and refused to exit the vehicle. During the struggle, the accused kicked one officer multiple times before being removed from the vehicle and arrested. Minor injuries were reported.

Charged with assault & battery on LEO, resisting arrest, and intoxication in public
Court date set for April 3, 2013, held on a $5,000 secured bond

Narcotics Investigation – On February 20th at 6:54PM, detectives from the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force concluded a narcotics investigation involving the selling of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 12051 Lester Dr in Manassas (20112). During the execution of the search warrant, detectives encountered an aggressive dog which had to be shot. As a result of the search, marijuana, an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency, and evidence supporting distribution were seized. The dog was transported to an area animal hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg.

Charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana

**INCIDENTS**

Hit & Run Crash involving a Pedestrian – On February 20th at 8:07PM, police responded to the area of Lomond Dr and Garner Dr Manassas (20109) for a crash. The investigation revealed that the driver of an unknown vehicle was traveling eastbound on Lomond Dr when the driver struck a pedestrian who was walking in a designated crosswalk at the intersection. Following the collision, the vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian was flown to an area hospital with minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery. No description could be provided of the striking vehicle or driver.
Identified:
The pedestrian was identified as a 19 year old man of Manassas

Residential Burglary – On February 20th at 6:43PM, police responded to the 12200 block of Oakwood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 5:00PM on February 17th and 11:00AM on February 19th. Entry appeared to have been made through a window which had been forced open. A watch, clothing, laptop, and other property, valued around $1,500, were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 20th at 10:52AM, police responded to the 8300 block of Maplewood Dr in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Property owner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM on February 2nd and 2:30PM on February 19th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A stove, valued around $600, was reported missing.
