Attempted Malicious Wounding on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] *ARREST
On February 19th, the accused turned himself into police without incident. The accused was wanted in connection to an incident which occurred in the 12200 block of Tulane Falls Dr in Bristow on February 17th.
Arrested on February 19th:
Javon Jerome GROSS, 22, of 11655 Charter Oak Ct #201 in Reston
Charged with 2 counts of attempted malicious wounding of a LEO and driving on a revoked license

Attempted Malicious Wounding on LEO (Previously Released) – On February 17th at 10:58PM, police responded to the 12200 block of Tulane Falls Dr in Bristow (20136) for a subject brandishing a firearm. Officers responded to the area quickly and observed the suspect vehicle leaving the residence. The driver, without headlights illuminated, accelerated and intentionally drove towards the officer’s vehicles. Two of the responding officers had to make evasive maneuvers to avoiding colliding with the vehicle. Officers continued to follow the vehicle to the dead-end of Emory Fall Ct where the driver bailed on foot. Officers, a police K-9, and the Fairfax County Police helicopter searched for the suspect who was not located. Officers were able to identify the driver as the accused, GROSS. Two other occupants, WALKER and KORVAH, remained in the vehicle and were arrested after giving false information to investigating officers. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against GROSS. The investigation continues.

**ARRESTS**

Armed Robbery | Carjacking – On February 18th at 11:20PM, police responded to the 4000 block of Graham Park Rd in Dumfries (22026) for a robbery. The victim, a 36 year old man of Dumfries, reported to police that he was making a deposit at the Bank of America in the above area when 3 unknown men approached him. One of the men had a knife and demanded money from the victim. The men assaulted the victim and threw him to the ground before taking the victim’s vehicle and fleeing the area. Minor injuries were reported. An officer spotted the vehicle as the driver ran a red light at the intersection of Dale Blvd and Ashdale Ave. The vehicle continued to the area of Arbor Ct where the occupants fled on foot. A police K-9 was utilized in the search and was able to locate two of the suspects. Following the investigation, the suspects, both juveniles, were arrested. Detectives from the Robbery Unit are still working to identify the 3rd suspect involved.
Arrested on February 18th: (Juveniles)
A 15 year old male of Dumfries [Armed suspect]
Charged with robbery, grand larceny, assault & battery by mob, and possession of burglarious tools

A 16 year old male of Woodbridge
Charged with robbery and grand larceny

Court date unavailable, both are being held at the Juvenile Detention Center


**INCIDENTS**

Residential Burglary – On February 19th at 7:38PM, police responded to the 8000 block of Ashland Ave in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she just entered her residence when she observed an unknown man inside the home. Once discovered, the man fled out of a window. A police K-9 was utilized in the search. No one was located. A computer, phone, and other property, valued around $265, were reported missing.
