Burglary to a Community Center *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On February 15th, detectives from the Property Crimes Unit identified the suspect involved in the burglary which was reported at the Islamic Community Center of Northern Virginia located at 14505 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge on February 14th. Following the investigation, detectives obtained a warrant against the accused.

Andrew Charles CHAMBERS, 49, of no fixed address
Described as a white male, 6’4”, 220lbs, with blonde hair & blue eyes
Wanted for burglary

An early 2000’s, red Chevrolet Silverado with North Dakota license plates
Burglary to a Community Center (Previously Released) – On February 14th at 10:30AM, police responded to the Islamic Community Center of Northern Virginia (ICCNOV) located at 14505 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary in progress. The caller reported to police that he was working in an office located inside the Mosque when an unknown man forced a lock door open and entered. The caller confronted the man who immediately fled in a vehicle. No property was reported missing.

**INCIDENTS**
Attempted Malicious Wounding on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 17th at 10:58PM, police responded to the 12200 block of Tulane Falls Dr in Bristow (20136) for a subject brandishing a firearm. Officers responded to the area quickly and observed the suspect vehicle leaving the residence. The driver, without headlights illuminated, accelerated and intentionally drove towards the officer’s vehicles. Two of the responding officers had to make evasive maneuvers to avoiding colliding with the vehicle. Officers continued to follow the vehicle to the dead-end of Emory Fall Ct where the driver bailed on foot. Officers, a police K-9, and the Fairfax County Police helicopter searched for the suspect who was not located. Officers were able to identify the driver as the accused, GROSS. Two other occupants, WALKER and KORVAH, remained in the vehicle and were arrested after giving false information to investigating officers. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, warrants were obtained against GROSS. The investigation continues.

Burglary while Armed – On February 17th at 2:40AM, police responded to the 3600 block of Stonewall Manor Dr in Triangle (22172) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he was on a lower level of the residence when he heard a noise coming from an upper floor. Upon checking out the noise, the homeowner encountered an unknown man while walking up the stairs. The man was holding a firearm and demanded money. Once at the top of the stairs, the homeowner saw a second man. Both men wore masks and fled the residence. No injuries were reported and no property was taken. A K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspects. The homeowner was unable to provide a description of the intruders. This incident does not appear to be random.
Residential Burglary – On February 16th at 11:24PM, police responded to the 12300 block of Cinnamon St in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 2:00PM on February 10th and 11:00PM on February 16th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry appears to have been made through an unsecured rear sliding glass door. A laptop, 2 TV’s, and a gaming console with related games and equipment, valued around $3,400, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On February 15th at 2:01PM, police responded to the 12400 block of Oakwood Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00PM and 1:20PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry appears to have been made through an unsecured rear door. Jewelry, TV, notebook, 2 cameras, and a gaming console, valued around $5,600, were reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Burglary while Armed | Malicious Wounding – On February 16th at 1:40AM, police responded to the 12900 block of Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault stemming from a burglary. The victim, a 56 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was sleeping in his residence when 2 unknown men entered through an unlocked door and demanded money. During the encounter, the men bound the victim with zip-ties and struck him with an unknown blunt object. The men then fled the area in a vehicle. No property was taken. The victim was able to get lose from the restraints and contact police. Responding officers located the vehicle, unoccupied, in the area of Minnieville Rd and Old Bridge Rd after appearing to have crashed into a pole. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspects. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives from the Violent Crimes Bureau were able to identify the 2 suspects involved in this incident, GARDNER and PHILLIPS, and determine that a 3rd male, BOLDEN, was also involved. Members of the Bike Team were able to locate and arrest all 3 men without incident. This incident does not appear to be random.

Malicious Wounding by Substance – On February 16th at 4:20AM, police responded to the Shell Gas Station located at 13313 Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for an assault. The victim, a 34 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she was pumping gas at the location when she became involved in a verbal altercation with the accused, a known acquaintance. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the gas pump from the victim and sprayed gasoline in the victim’s face. The victim sustained severe injuries to her eyes and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The accused fled the area on foot but was located a short time later and arrested without further incident.

Malicious Wounding – On February 14th at 6:34PM, police responded to the 5000 block of Anchorstone Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a domestic. The victim, a 29 year old woman of Woodbridge, reported to police that she and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. At the time of the altercation, the accused was in a vehicle while the victim was standing outside of the driver’s side door. At one point, the accused drove off, running over the victim’s toes. Minor injuries were reported. The accused left the residence but returned as officers arrived at the residence. While investigating, officers learned that the victim had been assaulted 2 other times by the accused on February 11th and February 13th. On February 11th, the accused allegedly stuck a hot pan to the victim’s arm causing a burn. On February 13th, the victim reported that the accused pushed her down as she was walking up the stairs causing her to strike her forehead. The victim was transported to an area hospital for injuries. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On February 16th at 11:00PM, police responded to the 9300 block of Mace St in Manassas (20111) for a disorderly subject. The accused and another party, a known acquaintance, were reportedly arguing in the middle of the street on Manassas Dr. The parties separated prior to police arrival. One of the parties was located on Mace St where it was determined he was wanted on unrelated charges. During the arrest, the other party, the accused, arrived and became disorderly towards officers. As officers were placing the accused under arrest, she actively resisted and spat towards one of the officers. The accused was eventually detained. No injuries were reported.

Charged with assault & battery on LEO, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and intoxication in public

Residential Burglary – On February 16th at 5:40AM, police responded to the 8200 block of Barrett Dr in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was asleep inside the residence when she awoke to an unknown man inside her bedroom. The homeowner screamed and the man fled the room. The homeowner then contacted police. Officers arrived quickly and located the man, identified as the accused. No injuries were reported. Entry appeared to have been made through an unsecured window. Officers determined that he accused was under the influence of alcohol at the time of his arrest.
