Child Abuse *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On February 13th, detectives from the Physical Abuse Unit made an additional arrest in the child abuse investigation which was reported to have occurred in the 7900 block of Meadow Ct in Manassas on February 12th. The investigation also revealed that the accused had struck the victim multiple times with a belt between August 2011 and February 2013. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Child Abuse (Previously Released) – On February 12th at 5:30PM, detectives from the Physical Abuse Unit began an investigation into child abuse which was reported to have occurred in the 7900 block of Meadow Ct in Manassas (20109). The investigation revealed that the victim, a 2 year old boy, had been struck multiple times by the accused, a known family member, with a belt between November of 2012 and February 2013. The victim sustained lacerations as a result. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on Fire & Rescue Personnel – On February 13th at 10:29PM, police responded to the 14100 block of Cuddy Lp in Woodbridge (22193) for a medical call. Caller reported to police that the accused was acting irrational and then lost consciousness. Officers and rescue personnel arrived, at which point, the accused regained consciousness and became combative while in the ambulance. During the encounter, the accused assaulted one of the rescue personnel. Eventually the accused was restrained. No injuries were reported.

Charged with assault & battery on fire & rescue personnel
Court date set for March 28, 2013, held WITHOUT bond
Residential Burglary – On February 13th at 1:17PM, police responded to the 4700 block of Korvett Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she had just returned home and encountered an unknown man inside her residence. The homeowner ran to a neighbor’s house and contacted police. The neighbor was able to catch and detain the intruder until police arrived. Miscellaneous clothing was taken but returned to the homeowner. Following the investigation, the suspect, a juvenile, was charged.

Narcotics Investigation – On February 13th, detectives from the Street Crimes Unit concluded a narcotics investigation into the selling of marijuana with the execution of a search warrant at 1367 East Longview Dr #9 in Woodbridge (22191). As a result of the search, marijuana, 2 firearms, packaging material, and an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency were seized. The following arrests were also made without incident.

**INCIDENTS**
Armed Robbery – On February 13th at 10:01PM, police responded to the 2200 block of Tacketts Mill Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a robbery. The victims, a 42 year old man, a 37 year old man and a 65 year old man – all of Lorton, reported to police that they were walking to their vehicles in the parking lot when they were approached by 2 unknown men. One of the men displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the victims before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search. No suspects were located.

Commercial Burglary – On February 12th at 8:05AM, police responded to Andolina Chiropractic located at 1455 Old Bridge Rd #303 in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00PM on February 11th and 7:45Am on February 12th. Entry appeared to have been made through a window which had been broken out. A laptop, stereo, iPad and USB, valued around $1,600, were reported missing.
