**ARRESTS**

Aggravated Sexual Battery | Indecent Liberties – On December 17th [2012], detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 3600 block of Freemont Pl in Woodbridge (22193) in 1987. The victim, a 37 year old woman [currently] of West Virginia, reported to police that she was sexually abused by the accused, a known acquaintance, at a residence in the above area in 1987. The victim was 12 years old at the time of the offense. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery, indecent liberties with a child and object sexual penetration

Aggravated Sexual Battery | Forcible Sodomy – On February 6th, detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau began an investigation into a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred in the 18400 block of Quantico Gateway Dr in Triangle (22172) on January 5th. The investigation revealed that the victim, an 8 year old girl of Triangle, was visiting friends at an address in the above when she was sexually assault by the accused, a known acquaintance. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with aggravated sexual battery and forcible sodomy

Malicious Wounding – On February 10th at 11:36AM, police responded to the 9400 block of Hensley Rd in Manassas (20112) for a fight. The victim, a 29 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was involved in a fight with both accused men listed below. All parties are known to one another and the fight appeared to have stemmed from a previous altercation between the men the night prior. The victim was struck in the upper body with a pipe and was flown to an area hospital as a precaution for non-life threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival but were located at their residence by deputies of the Fauquier County Sheriff Office.

Rodney Lee JAMERSON, 47, of 3134 Catlett Rd in Catlett

Both were charged with malicious wounding

Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officers – On February 9th at 12:55PM, police responded to the area of Jefferson Davis Hwy and Dumfries Rd in Dumfries (22026) for a disorderly subject walking in traffic and kicking vehicles. Officers arrived and the suspect, identified as the accused, refused to step out of the street. As officers were attempting to detain the accused, he actively resisted and struck one of the officers in the face multiple times. Following a brief struggle, the accused was subsequently arrested. Minor injuries were reported.

Charged with assault & battery on LEO, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and careless interference with traffic

Attempted Residential Burglary – On February 8th at 11:56PM, police responded to the 3500 block of Cornice Pl in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that she was on an upper level floor when she heard a noise coming from a lower level rear door. Upon checking out the noise, she observed 2 unknown men at the door, one of which was attempting entry. The homeowner called police and left the residence. Responding officers were able to quickly detain the men in the surrounding neighborhood. No entry was gained into the residence. Following the investigation, both were charged.

**INCIDENTS**

Armed Robbery – On February 8th at 10:00PM, police responded to the 4300 block of Welsh Ln in Woodbridge (22193) for a robbery. The victim, a 55 year old man of Woodbridge, reported to police that he was delivering pizzas to an address in the above area when he was approached by 3 unknown masked men. One of the men demanded displayed a handgun and demanded money. The men took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency and the pizzas before fleeing the area on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the men. No suspects were located.

All were described as black males, between 16 & 24 years of age—
1st male was 5’10”, 160lbs, medium build with black hair and brown eyes

2nd male was 5’5”, 140lbs, medium build with black hair and brown eyes

3rd male was 5’5”, 160lbs, medium build with black hair and brown eyes

All were last seen wearing black pants, black shirts and black knit caps

Commercial Burglary – On February 9th at 8:13PM, police responded to a business in the 12600 block of Lake Ridge Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for an alarm. Officers arrived and discovered a rear window broken and a door unsecured. The business was checked and no suspects were located. A laptop, valued around $800, was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On February 9th at 6:59PM, police responded to the 16900 block of Point Pleasant Ln in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00PM on February 8th and 6:00PM on February 9th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. A handgun and gaming console with related accessories and games, valued around $640, were reported missing. 

Commercial Burglary – On February 9th at 3:29AM, police responded to the Target located at 2460 Prince William Pkwy in Woodbridge (22192) for an alarm. Officers arrived and discovered a rear emergency door was ajar. After reviewing surveillance footage, it is believed the suspect hid in the store prior to closing. The suspect is seen using tools from the store to break into locked cabinets. The suspect took multiple iPads and other property, valued around $10,000, before fleeing the store through the emergency exit which triggered the alarm.

Last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and black sneakers

Residential Burglary – On February 9th at 12:46AM, police responded to the 11800 block of Antietam Dr in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30PM on February 8th and 12:46AM on February 9th. Entry appeared to have been made through a basement window which was found open. A laptop, valued around $1,000, was reported missing.
