*ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 4th at 11:04PM, police responded to the 15400 block of Binder Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a disorderly subject. Once on scene, officers encountered the accused. The accused was intoxicated and became aggressive towards residents at the above home and towards officers. As officers were attempting to arrest the accused, he actively resisted and pushed one of the arresting officers. The accused was eventually detained. No injuries were reported.

Brandishing a Weapon on School Property – On January 7th at 11:45AM, police responded to Vaughn Elementary School located at 2200 York Dr in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an altercation which took place on Friday, January 4th around 4:00PM. The investigation revealed that an 11 year old male student was involved in an altercation with another student, a 9 year old male. During the encounter, the 11 year old displayed a BB gun and pointed it towards the other student. The school had already been dismissed for the day; however the altercation did occur outdoors on school property. No shots were fired and no injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the 11 year old student was charged.

**INCIDENTS**
Destruction to Church Property – On January 7th at 7:56AM, police responded to Neabsco Baptist Church located at 15557 Neabsco Church Way in Woodbridge (22193) for a destruction of property. Staff reported to police that between 11:00PM on January 6th and 5:00AM on January 7th, an unknown person(s) threw a plastic mailbox against a church window causing $250 in damage to outer pain window. An inner, stain glass pain was not damaged. No entry was made into the church and no property was reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On January 7th at 6:14AM, police responded to Daniels Auto Care located at 17711 Fraley Rd in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 9:00AM on January 5th and 5:30AM on January 7th. Entry appeared to have been made through a side window which had been broken out. Inspection stickers, valued around $2,000, were reported missing. Damage estimated around $1,200 was also reported.
Attempted Residential Burglary – On January 7th at 8:38PM, police responded to the 6000 block of Ponhill Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for an attempted burglary. Homeowner reported to police that between 10:00AM and 6:00PM, an unknown person(s) attempted entry into the residence through a rear door which had been damaged. No entry is believed to have been made into the residence and no property was reported missing.
