Carjacking *ARREST – On January 5th, Virginia State Police arrested the accused in Fairfax County. The accused was wanted in connection to a carjacking which was reported to have occurred in the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas on December 26th.

Antoine Clarence MCIVER, 20, of 10906 Coverstone Dr #A2 in Manassas (Last Known)
Charged with carjacking and use of a firearm in commission of a felony

Carjacking (Previously Released) – On December 26th at 9:17PM, police responded to the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) for a carjacking. The victims, a 41 year old woman and a 39 year old man – both of Manassas, reported to police that they had just parked their vehicle in front of their residence in the above area when 3 unknown males suddenly approached the vehicle. At that point, two of the males displayed handguns and ordered the victims from their vehicle. Two of the males then got into the vehicle and fled the area while the remaining suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
Around 10:30PM, officers located the vehicle, which was occupied by 7 individuals, in the drive-thru of the McDonalds located at Portsmouth Rd. As officers approached the vehicle, 4 of the individuals, including the driver, fled on foot. The vehicle was left in the drive position and continued forward, striking a concrete pillar before stopping. An additional 3 suspects were unable to exit the backseat of the vehicle and were detained by police. Those individuals were later determined to not have been involved in the carjacking. A police K-9 was utilized in a search for the remaining suspects. The K-9 located 1 of suspects nearby, a 17 year old male of Manassas, where he was detained without further incident.
Upon further investigation, detectives from the Robbery Unit were able to identify and locate the 3 remaining suspects at an address on Albemarle Dr where they were detained without further incident. Among the 3 suspects detained on Albemarle Dr, 2 were determined to have been involved in the initial carjacking, a 12 year old male of Manassas and a 14 year old male of Sterling. The investigation further revealed that the 2 of the males involved in the carjacking had met up with the other individuals at Manassas Mall following the carjacking. There, a 13 year old female, drove the stolen vehicle to the McDonalds where they encountered police. The handguns used in the carjacking were later determined to have been BB guns which the suspects stole prior to the incident. The 3rd suspect involved in the carjacking was not located. Investigation continues. On December 27th, detectives from the Robbery Unit identified the 3rd suspect involved in the carjacking which was reported to have occurred in the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas on December 26th. Warrants have been obtained against the accused. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Armed Robbery – On January 6th at 5:58PM, police responded to the Cricket Wireless Store located at 7861 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown man entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded money. The man took an undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency from the store before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspect. The man was not located.

Strong Armed Robbery – On January 5th at 8:35PM, police responded to the 8000 block of Ashland Ave in Manassas (20109) for a robbery. The victim, a 41 year old woman of Manassas, reported to police that she had just parked her vehicle and was walking to her residence in the area above when she was approached from behind by an unknown man. The man took the victim’s purse from her shoulder and fled on foot. No injuries were reported. A police K-9 was utilized in the search for the suspect. The man was not located.

Residential Burglary – On January 6th at 10:00PM, police responded to the 4500 block of Kendall Dr in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM and 3:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unsecured door. Jewelry and 2 cameras, valued around $1,800, were reported missing.
Burglary to a Church – On January 6th at 1:40PM, police responded to the Mision Cristiana Agape Church located at 8025 Rugby Rd in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Staff reported to police that the burglary occurred between 12:00AM on January 4th and 1:30PM on January 6th. Entry appeared to have been made through a door which had been forced open. An undisclosed amount of U.S. Currency was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 5th at 12:55PM, police responded to the 13800 block of Londonderry Ct in Woodbridge (22193) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:30AM and 12:00PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. Entry is believed to have been made through an unlocked basement level door. Jewelry, a gaming console and 2 TV’s, valued around $2,600, were reported missing.
Commercial Burglary – On January 5th at 1:52AM, police responded to the Automotive & Commercial Center located at 17449 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries (22026) for an alarm. Officers arrived and discovered that an unknown person(s) made entry into the business by breaking the glass on one of the bay doors. A police K-9 was utilized in the search of the business. No suspects were located and no property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 4th at 10:39PM, police responded to the 7700 block of Keara Ct in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that on January 3rd at 7:00AM, she heard a male voices coming from another area of the residence. The suspects attempted to enter her room, at which point, they fled. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear window which had been broken out. Jewelry, valued around $1,000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 4th at 6:40PM, police responded to the 1200 block of East Longview Dr in Woodbridge (22191) for a burglary. Property caretaker reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:00AM on December 26th and 6:40PM on January 4th. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A TV and safe, of unknown value, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 4th at 5:18PM, police responded to the 13500 block of Colesmire Gate Way in Bristow (20136) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM and 10:00PM on December 30th. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. No property was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 4th at 12:52PM, police responded to the 3600 block of Russell Rd in Woodbridge (22192) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 8:15AM and 12:45PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. Jewelry, valued around $12, 000, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 4th at 10:49AM, police responded to the 8500 block of Spruce St in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 7:00Pm on January 3rd and 9:30AM on January 4th. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear door which had been forced open. Electrical wire, valued around $200, was reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 3rd at 1:30PM, police responded to the 17200 block of Wexford Lp in Dumfries (22026) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:05AM and 1:30PM. Entry appeared to have been made through a rear sliding glass door which had been broken out. A TV, gaming equipment and 2 laptops, valued around $4,500, were reported missing.
Residential Burglary – On January 3rd at 1:19PM, police responded to the 17500 block of Baron Heights Rd in Dumfries (22025) for a burglary in progress. Caller reported seeing an unknown person jump the fence to a neighbor’s residence. Officers arrived and discovered a side door had been forced open. Police checked the residence, no suspect was located. No property was reported missing.
**ARRESTS**
Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 6th at 8:49PM, police arrested the accused for driving under the influence following a crash which occurred in the 17100 block of Dumfries Rd in Dumfries (22025). While being processed at the Garfield Police Station, the accused actively resisted and pushed the arresting officer. The officer was able to secure the accused. No injuries were reported.
Arrested on January 6th:
Kelly Henson HOOD, 30, of 5103 MacNamara Dr in Fredericksburg
Charged with assault & battery on LEO, driving under the influence, obstruction of justice and unreasonable refusal
Court date set for February 8, 2013, held WITHOUT bond
Assault & Battery on Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On January 5th at 5:30AM, police responded to the 7500 block of Gales Ct in Manassas (20109) for a domestic. The accused was arrested previously that morning around 2:32AM for domestic assault against the victim, a 29 year old woman of Manassas, following a verbal argument which escalated. While detained the accused was issued a protective order barring contact with the victim. The accused was subsequently released on an unsecured bond. Following his release, the accused returned to the victim’s address. Officers responded and located the accused who had been banging on the windows and doors of the residence. While in custody, the accused kicked two officers. The accused was eventually detained and arrested.

Daniel Walter HARRISON, 31, of 1358 Oakshire Ct in Herndon
Charged with domestic assault & battery, 2 counts of assault & battery on LEO and violation of a protective order

Serious Crash Involving Officer – On January 4th at 4:02AM, police responded to the area of Gideon Dr and Smoketown Rd in Woodbridge (22193) for a crash involving a Prince William County police officer. The investigation revealed that an on-duty officer was traveling westbound on Opitz Blvd in a marked police cruiser when the driver of a 2000 Nissan Maxima, traveling northbound on Gideon Dr, disregarded a red light at the intersection and struck the cruiser. As a result of the impact from the crash, the officer lost consciousness. The officer regained consciousness while at the scene and was flown to an area hospital where she was treated for injuries. The officer has since been released from the hospital. The other driver, and only occupant of the vehicle, was not injured. Following the investigation, the accused was determined to have faulty brakes.
