**ARRESTS**
Abduction – On January 22nd at 5:45PM, police responded to the Clairmont School located at 3551 Waterway Dr in Dumfries (22025) for a reported abduction. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 26 year old woman of Dumfries, and her 4 year old son were abducted from the location by the accused, a known acquaintance. Officers eventually located the vehicle in the area of the Cloverdale Rd. The victim and suspect were located inside. The victim was not injured. The child was located at an address on Endsley Tn unharmed. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with abduction

Indecent Liberties with a Child – On January 22nd, detectives from the Special Victim’s Bureau made an arrest in an indecent liberties case which was reported to have occurred in the 13500 block of Cridercrest Dr in Woodbridge (22191) on December 17th [2012]. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 14 year old female of Woodbridge, had received inappropriate message via the internet from the accused. The accused solicited the victim over her Facebook account. Family members discovered the messages and contacted police. No meeting took place between the victim and the suspect. Following the investigation, the accused was arrested.

Charged with taking indecent liberties with a child and using a communication system to commit acts with a minor

**INCIDENTS**
Commercial Burglary – On January 18th at 8:48AM, police responded to Byrd Tractor Inc. located at 7274 Centreville Rd in Manassas (20111) for a burglary. Employees reported to police that the burglary occurred between 6:00PM on January 17th and 8:00AM on January 18th. The investigation revealed that an unknown person(s) removed a lock from the fence belonging to an adjacent business and drove a vehicle into a garage belonging to the above company. Both businesses share a lot and business space. Once there, the suspect(s) removed several large pieces of equipment, including 3 mowers, a recreational utility vehicle, snow blower and a generator, valued around $50,000.
Residential Burglary – On January 19th at 1:16AM, police responded to the 7600 block of Old Linton Hall Rd in Gainesville (20169) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that he heard noises coming from another room of the residence. Upon checking on the noise, the homeowner discovered an unknown man in a separate bedroom. The man locked himself in the room and by the time the homeowner made entry, the suspect had fled out of a window. A laptop, valued around $500, was reported missing. The suspect is believed to have made entry into the residence through an unsecured window.

Residential Burglary – On January 18th at 4:00PM, police responded to the 10000 block of Brandon Way in Manassas (20109) for a burglary in progress. Homeowner reported to police that 3 masked men forced their way into the residence, 1 of the men was armed with a handgun. Once inside, the men ransacked the home before fleeing the residence. No injuries were reported. A cell phone, valued around $200, was reported missing. A police K-9 was utilized in a search for the suspects, none were located. This incident does not appear to be random.

Residential Burglary – On January 18th at 2:06PM, police responded to the 7500 block of Quail Run Ln in Manassas (20109) for a burglary. Homeowner reported to police that burglary occurred between 9:00AM and 1:00PM. Entry appeared to have been made through the front door which had been forced open. A laptop, gaming console, 2 handguns and other miscellaneous items, valued around $1,800, were reported missing.
